“We took a new member of our team out for a welcome lunch. We needed a place that was large enough to accommodate 11 people without having to wait too long. We were seated right away. The atmosphere was nice with Thai decor and many images of "Lucky Elephants". They have weekday lunch specials that include soup, egg roll, rice (except for noodle dishes) and your lunch entrees. The green curry is my favorite with coconut milk, pork and bamboo shoots. We also got some coconut ice cream desert which was a great way to end the meal.”

“Went here after going not going back for many years when my friends took me. I forgot the name and location but found it on reviews and went there and got shrimp tostada raw shrimp. For some reason they put in cooked shrimp on the top and raw underneath which I didn’t mind. The aguachile sauce compliments the food very well. Food was fresh and price was affordable. I didn’t get to order shrimp empanadas which I recall were the best since they ran out. One of the best spots for shrimp ceviche if you can get past the veined shrimp. The couple that runs the truck are very warm and welcoming. Highly recommended. They have about 4 locations throughout the valley. I’ve only been to this location, Pacoima and the one on Lankershim and Kewen Ave and so far this location is my favorite.”

“Lord Empanada is like one of those hole in a wall places that you need to know about. I say hole in the wall, because this place is a little hidden and I drove past it. The parking lot was small so you do need to find parking. There was a sign saying you can park across the street as well. Everyone I talked to was nice. The cashier I spoke with is approachable and fun to talk to. She was able to help me answer all my questions and provide recommendations. She knew her stuff. By the way, I loved the recommendations. I got the beef (the Empanada that started it all for Lord Empanada), birria (another recommendation), and an apple pie. The beef and the birria that were recommended were so delicious! The meat was tender, and they didn't skimp on the fillings. The chimichurri sauces that came with it were so good. I'd definitely buy it the next time I'm there. It tasted like it was infused with garlic and herbs. yum! The apple pie was ok and not a favorite. I should have gone savory instead of sweet. But my friend did compare it to tasting like a McDonald's apple pie, so it wasn't bad tasting. Just not for me. Overall, I will definitely come back if I'm in the area. Another one to add to the books. Come check them out! I didn't dine in and did take out. It's still delicious, even when I ate it later.”

This is an unassuming, hole in the wall, that gives some nostalgia to the mall Sarku Japan days in high and middle school in NJ. This place is one of those finds that I like where you get inexpensive and good food for a great experience. I Love Teriyaki looks like it has been there since the olden days of LA metro. The vibe you get is one of those classic spots and the food delivers more than as well. The flavor of the teriyaki sauce is a perfect blend of savory and umami and reminds me of a far better Sarku Japan / chicken teriyaki dish. If you are looking for a homemade taste but quality chicken teriyaki with sauce...look no further. In addition, the sauce in the salad just further blends together with the chicken teriyaki and teriyaki sauce in the rice! Be prepared to be extremely full if you plan to finish this dish in one sitting. BONUS POINTS in taking a stroll after this delicious meal! In walking around town, it gives off a kind of old Western vibe (coming from someone who lived and explored Dallas-Fort Worth metro (DFW) a good amount), almost cowboy-like but you are in California so that does not make sense...this part of El Segundo must have kept its history and gives you such a different feeling than the newer, bougie, fun, and other areas in LA metro. Definitely check out this part of Main St. if you are looking for something different in LA metro.”

“Omg this place is like taking a trip to El Salvador 😍 Seriously! Their pupusas are soooo yummy and they come in a variety of sizes too. The Horchata deserves a capital H cuz it is authentic El Salvadoran horchata. It took me back to being a teenager and taking a trip to see my abuela in ES and grabbing a quarter priced horchata in a bag with a straw from a street vendor. I mean it is that authentically real and flavorful. I even make a trip out to them just for the horchata. I have ordered the plátanos, the pupusas revueltas, the carne asada con camarones, the tamales de elote, the empanadas de leche, and of course the horchata. They have all been superb dishes and they are hefty servings too. There’s a deal on the small pupusas 10x$12, which is always a great meal deal. The empanadas come with 2 pieces and they’re delish. The grilled steak and shrimp is very savory, juicy and tender. It is incredibly delicious and mouthwatering. They give you a hefty portion too. They are a bit on the pricier side but you can’t beat the authenticity. It is like taking a trip to El Salvador 🇸🇻 I definitely recommend you give them a try, you won’t regret it.”

“A great casual eatery with delectable garlic noodles and a menu lineup that has me looking forward to coming back and trying everything else. The Spicy Noodles ($15.95) were perfectly seasoned - tons of garlic, a great chili flavor, and just enough heat to leave a lingering warmth without overpowering anything. The Steak (+$1.59) was a bit chewy, but complemented the noodles excellently and we're equally if not even better seasoned than the noodles. Everything was well portioned for the price. My only gripe is that I somewhat wish the noodles had a bit more - like some sauted onions/shallots, bell peppers, cabbage, or mushrooms. Just something to add a bit of texture and complimentary flavors. I'd even pay extra for them as a "+Veggies" option. Still, as is, the noodles were fantastic. The side of gyoza didn't stand out, but that speaks to them being quite good: crispy, a nice neutral flavor, and a decent chili oil sauce on the side. Overall, I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area and the menu catches your eye.”

Sauce is ok, didn't like it too much but the food was good without it (not sure what seasoning it was I didn't like). Steve's Fries were yummy & fun to eat; had nice flavor with soft Mac & cheese. Staff was ok. It's a cute small place located on the corner with about 10 tables outside in a bright yellow cute area. No bathroom or inside area. Prices are fair for the portions. The parking lot is pretty tiny, but there's parking available on the street too. I definitely going back for that crunch.”
