“While searching for coffee, Cafe Pruvia popped up and I’m glad it did. It's a cute shop located in a very busy shopping center in Gardena. It felt like a study room with lots of people studying together on their computers and enjoying a yummy drink. It reminded me of when I was in college studying in the library. Cafe Pruvia offers coffee, lattes, and tea lattes. I went with an iced vanilla latte. Not only did I really enjoy the drink, but I also loved the cup that it was in. I know that's weird, but I just liked the sturdiness of the cup and the shape of it. Hubby and I enjoyed our coffee so much, that we turned around and ordered another drink. This time, we tried their swirled whipped cream matcha drink. That drink was also very good! I loved the way it looked in the cup and I love the way it tasted! Overall, Cafe Pruvia was a success! Amazing drinks, great customer service, and good vibes.”

“I was passing by this area and decided to stop by Waffle Studio for fun. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this place is! They have a variety of delicious waffles, teas, and coffees to choose from. I ordered the strawberry waffle, which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. It was so good that I almost finished it by myself. I also tried the house salted coffee and the coconut coffee blended, both of which were smooth and flavorful. The house salted coffee had a nice balance of sweet and salty, while the coconut coffee blended was creamy and refreshing. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the cafe was cozy and cute. They have a lot of decorations and seating options, perfect for a small chat or a relaxing break. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food and drinks. I would definitely come back here again and try their other waffle flavors, such as pandan, sesame. Waffle Studio is a hidden gem in South El Monte that deserves more recognition and customers. “Ahhh!!! I really like it here. I’ve only gone a few times but from those times, I have had a great experience. The staff are very nice and even make sure to ask if you have any questions. The drinks are made quick (within minutes after ordering) and they’re pretty good too!! I also love the vibe of the place in general. The price per drink is also very good too. I spent about $18 total for 2 24oz drinks and 1 supersize drink (I forgot how many ounces exactly it was but it had to be like 32oz maybe?). I honestly think that is worth it. I definitely do think that the drink I got (Sunset Breeze; only in supersize when I went) was a little too sweet to my liking but then again, I do not really have a big sweet tooth! I’d just say you never know until you try it!! Edit: I went again, got a different drink (The second image is this drink) and it was very good~ 😌 It was the Maui Crush (just in case anyone wanted to know, it is decaf :] )”

“My friends and I stopped by this Starbucks in City Walk since we saw on Yelp and Google that they close at 2am. Other Starbucks closes at 8pm or 9pm so we decided to come to City Walk since my friend wanted his coffee. If you're a AMC Stub member then you should use your free ticket to take advantage of not paying full price for parking. This Starbucks location is on the 2nd floor now instead of the 1st floor in its old location. This Starbucks store isn't big, I think it's meant for just people to get their drink and relax outside in their outdoor seating area or to walk around City Walk. My friend got his black coffee and my other friend got the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso. They enjoyed their drink but it did take a while to come out when they weren't that busy. When we left the store at 10pm, they started closing their door and said they were closed so we were surprise since we thought they close at 2pm.”

“Finally, a nice bakery in the valley! The cashier need to speed up a little--I guess, she's new like almost everyone at this new place--but other than that, the bread is delicious. I love the chocolate bread filled with cream cheese. Milk bread was nice. The broiche is soft and chewy on the inside, and the top is just hard enough and sweet. The best drink here is the sea salt coffee cold, it's very different from the usual stuff down the ways. I think the prices are reasonable for what you get. Boba is okay, not the best, but good enough. Anyways, I'm glad 85 degrees is finally here in the valley, and can't wait for the Century City one to open soon.”
