“Definitely a good place to get what you need to make a dinner or lunch always come in here for last minute ideas, but in a pinch this place also sells food ready to go. Hot food real good to be honest the flavor was better a few years ago but has changed not terrible just not as good. But and this is very important of all the local North Gates this is the one with the best taste and the best bread in my opinion. They have a cornbread that's like a pie this place has the best tasting one ever. The staff is really good at helping people and sometimes the coke will offer you a recipe if he is in the mood or has time. The produce I can't even tell you how good it is it's very fresh never disappointing I come here many times a month just to pick up little odds and ends to make a delicious meal for the family.”

“I like their no-thrill style, as opposed to mainstream peers. Their produce, bread, food court, are among my favorites, and a whole host of bargain items. Maybe other stores have slightly shinier products and an embellished appearance. Perhaps, the quality is a tiny little higher, but not worth the much higher price. especially with inflation nowadays. In the end, it all ends up flushing to the same destination, when one wakes up in the morning.”

“Just moved here, found this store nearby. Great store, fun to walk through. I think the best thing is the tamales they make, very nice. They have them in packages you can toss in the freezer, and hot ones in a self-serve station [ed: it's not self-serve]. The bakery looks intriguing, but I can't be eating that kind of stuff too much. They make stacks of tortillas in the store, though I confess I eat those high-fiber, low calorie chemical plant creations these days, so I can't indulge. Still, lots of good stuff here, great selection of Mexican peppers at rock bottom prices, less than two bucks for plump pablanos. One thing I'd like to see is a greater selection of red sauces, but no shortage of dried peppers to make your own, I suppose, bins of them. Look for bean and cheese filled corn disks in the freezer, good snacks for the air fryer.”

“My favorite thing about Smart N Final is that they sell things in bulk but they also have small individual items of that bulk. I love coming here to get items for parties, gatherings or when you need quantity. It's a supermarket with a little steroid in it!! The prices are decent and the produce is fresh. There is an area where you can bag and buy nuts, grains, candies, trail mixes, etc. by the pound. They have fresh baked goodies and wide selection of beers and bottles. The candy aisle is intense when you got kiddos because they have all sorts of goodies you can buy from an ice cream truck in stacks of boxes. This is great for kids birthdays and piñata filling. The check out lanes are super cute with street names and lights on each one. For some reason they scan your shopping cart too. Not sure what that's all about but it ain't coming out of my pocket!!”
