“Lord Empanada is like one of those hole in a wall places that you need to know about. I say hole in the wall, because this place is a little hidden and I drove past it. The parking lot was small so you do need to find parking. There was a sign saying you can park across the street as well. Everyone I talked to was nice. The cashier I spoke with is approachable and fun to talk to. She was able to help me answer all my questions and provide recommendations. She knew her stuff. By the way, I loved the recommendations. I got the beef (the Empanada that started it all for Lord Empanada), birria (another recommendation), and an apple pie. The beef and the birria that were recommended were so delicious! The meat was tender, and they didn't skimp on the fillings. The chimichurri sauces that came with it were so good. I'd definitely buy it the next time I'm there. It tasted like it was infused with garlic and herbs. yum! The apple pie was ok and not a favorite. I should have gone savory instead of sweet. But my friend did compare it to tasting like a McDonald's apple pie, so it wasn't bad tasting. Just not for me. Overall, I will definitely come back if I'm in the area. Another one to add to the books. Come check them out! I didn't dine in and did take out. It's still delicious, even when I ate it later.”

“A true hole in the wall Chinese restaurant in Arcadia. There is an interesting assortment of dishes on the menu, most of which I am unfamiliar with. I like spicy food and was not disappointed. However, if you don't like your food on the spicy side you have the option of having it prepared milder. I will be going back to try a lot of those dishes which all sounded interesting and I am willing to bet that I will enjoy them. They also have a bustling takeout business.”

“The beef here is phenomenal. I can't believe I had been driving past this place for years and not been in until recently. The ingredients here are outstanding. This is NOT a place with dry, reheated and charred beef strips or wafer thin slices of less than choice quality cuts. This is real, slow cooked (or pressure cooked?), high-quality, substantial chunks of tender beef in a sauce that is everything you expect when you want teriyaki. I get the bowl and it is plenty of food for me. And well preportioned, so you aren't just left with a bowl full of rice after a few bites. I waited until I had ordered a few times before reviewing, just to be sure it wasn't a fluke. Service is always kind and genuine, like an old family friend who invited you to dinner. And quick which is fantastic, since I tend to get impatient waiting when I can smell the intoxicating scent of my much anticipated meal. In fact, that's why I have yet to be able to even snap a pic to share with all of you, I am usually half way through before I remember. Bottom line is that if you have not been here yet, you are missing out. And as reluctant as I am to share my favorite teriyaki spot lest it become too crowded when I'm hungry, this place deserves to know how much I appreciate them.”

Sometimes it can take an hour to get your food, but its well worth the wait. We have never been disappointed, the toppings are fresh, the sauce is great, and the people that work there are really down to earth and friendly, they actually try to get to know you. I am always looking forward to ordering for them, not to mention their homemade ranch is just delicious. As a vegetarian, pizza options are limited but they offer different types here to chose from, my go-to is the Mediterranean. Give them a try, you wont be disappointed.”

“Yum! I had a shrimp taco and a fish taco along with sides - super delicious and satisfying. Seafood was crispy, but tender inside. I love the yellow peppers they serve on the side. This place does a lot of takeout business in addition to dine-in customers, as I ate I watched as people kept strolling in. The counter and kitchen staff did a great job of keeping the line moving. They have a small eat-in are along with outside seating.”

“Wow!!!!!!! The donuts are amazing. Each donut has a different texture to it, more than just different flavors to the same type of donut. “I gave them another try. Service was good the included all the condiments and the dining area looked very clean. Their egg rolls are legendary, and most of the time I order just that. But I really like the fact that they also serve breakfast all day. About their grande burrito, which is when I had, their version of "grande" is more like small to medium sized. “Can I just say that when I have a long busy 2 or 3 days in a row, my family and I always pull up to this Del Taco for a quick dinner that is warm, filling, inexpensive and "hits the spot!" Even though I can make my own Mexican food fresh at home, our busy schedule does not allow me to everyday.
