“This place is the best Pakistani cuisine place near Downey. The place is a mom and paps owned restaurant. It is a small hole in the wall, but do not let the atmosphere deceive you. The food is delicious. Try the chicken briyani , Nehari, chicken Tikka, paya, and of course the Naan. Really good comfort food with a bit spicy and sweet flavor. P.s. It's not the same as Indian food but has similarities 😋”

“Looking for a good breakfast place while visiting Downey Ca, I may have found one. This popular local spot uses fresh ingredients to create their dishes. The food is good, portions are generous and all are priced accordingly. The French Toast was very flavorful and the bread was cooked perfectly, unlike other establishments where the bread tends to be a bit firmer (hard) which, negatively impacts the overall taste of the dish. The Steak and Eggs were good but the steak did lack seasoning and flavor and tasted a bit bland. The inside dining area is spacious, clean and can accommodate large groups. Outdoor seating is available should you desire. The painted wall decor is colorful creating a soothing relaxed atmosphere. The operational efficiency on how customers are greeted, seated and served is very much customer service friendly. You’re initially met by a greeter who directs you to a QR code where you’re able to view the menu and order. You’re then directed to a cashier where you pay for the meal (In advance, tip optional) and are then seated. Within 8 short minutes your food arrives table side. This process does have one distinct advantage, which, is your food arrives much quicker than most. The draw back, it’s already paid for if you’re dissatisfied. The servers were friendly and very attentive. I would suggest you arrive early since, it can get very busy. With that, other than the steak missing the mark, overall, I believe you’ll enjoy your dining experience here and would recommend this breakfast spot.”

“I was looking for 'restaurants near me'. Saw Yolys and asked opinion of a stranger: "Go There. You will be glad you did!". He was spot on Right. I was met by the very pleasant Monica. She answered all my questions and I settled on the Super Burrito. Such a large portion! Full of tasty shredded chicken and a blend of very diverse ingredients. Monica was there often to top off coffee and see if I needed anything. The restaurant was clean, and inviting. My cook, i did not get his name, but a friendly man who obviously knows how to prepare, and present. A meal. Very nice stop. Enjoyed it, (just as the stranger i met, said I would.) “I ordered the spicy beef teriyaki special and was pleasantly surprised at the heaping portion of meat. All in all the flavor was good. I added a miso soup to my order which was also satisfactory. “I was totally blown away by what I thought was just a butcher shop. It's so much more! It's a butcher, it's a market with amazing produce selection, it also has a restaurant inside that sells the most amazing food! Lots of parking, staff is really friendly and helpful. Meat quality is excellent and they have a lot of prepared meats and appetizers for the grill. The restaurant inside is amazing. Of course they use their fresh meats which makes it that much better. Good selection of food and a fun menu. Carnivore fries/nachos are great as is their 18hour smoked brisket sandwich. This place has it all!”

“This our first time at Tacos Raul it just across the street from Randy's Donut and In out Burger. I told my wife let's try the food at Tacos Raul then my wife sayed yes. I seen some of the reviews of the restaurant they good marks with some negative reviews hey nothing is stop us and trying out the food. They have the menu we'll display and showing what items they have and the choices of meats at the restaurant. We looking at the menu then we decided what to order my wife order the torta carne asada then I order the Carnitas burrito but I let them know I wanna wet style then I say the red sauce. I pick up the food wow the food looks very delicious then my wife took a bite of her torta sandwich she enjoy the carne asada was really tender and fullnof flavor. My wet style Carnitas burrito was amazing good and very full of flavorin the burritos including the rice and beans in the burrito add so much flavor.”

“The pizza was very tasty. Signs on the window say real ingredients, and it seems to be true. The customer service was very good. The person helping us with our order was courteous and polite. We order a one topping, pepperoni pizza and it was better than expected considering the price point. The bread stick were larger than Little Caesars but not as flavorful, but marinara sauce was included with the order. Overall, we will continue to get pizzas there. It will be fun to try eventually try everything on the menu.”

I had a year not coming her due to me being pregnant even though i was able to have tofu and other things that wouldn’t harm the baby but my weakness and my favorite are salmon and spicy tuna, but IM BACK NOW. “I found out about this place through Instagram and immediately wanted to try it out. I read some of the bad reviews on this google page and felt a little discouraged but I still went ahead and ordered the feast for 2. (Because the Instagram videos/pictures convinced me to) and I have to say THEIR FOOD IS AMAZING!!!! I loved the taste of everything they served in the platter. All the meat in the platter was tender and flavourful.(ribs were my favorite) The sides were tasty as well. I will definitely be back. (My friend loved the bbq sauce) oh yea. “Good pizza! We got a medium with half Original Pastrami and half The Alfredo. Both were delicious. The crust had a nice snappy crunch to it. Medium is a good size for 2 hungry people i’d say. Not the best pizza in the world but one of the best in Downey for sure. We went a Monday evening (right before closing) and there wasn’t many people, food was quick, and despite it being late in their shifts the staff was still very friendly. Lastly, we got Tiramisu and it wasn’t the best but not terrible, came in a little plastic cup that made it feel store bought (it might not be i’m not sure).”

“I've had Area Plumbing (sent by Old Republic Home Warrenty Service) come out several times for different needs. I find Johnny Leach to be an experienced plumber with a forthright manner. He will tell you the facts and work with you to resolve the problem. This week he came to check out a drippy shower head which proved to be a valve problem for a 30 plus year old, discontinued system. For now, this was more than I wanted to deal with due to the fact it was behind a tile wall. He made some adjustments that definitely helped the situation until we could think it through, find a tile contractor, etc. Then the next day he called and said he wanted to come over with another part that he had come up with that would still allow us to use the shower and give us even more time to formulate a plan. There was no charge for this second service call, and that is the second time that Johnny has gone beyond what was required.”
