The Sisters Cafe Vietnamese & Asian Fusion (PHO)

This is a great Vietnamese restaurant on Sunset. I had eaten lunch at a Thai place earlier. But, I wanted to try a couple of dishes here. So, I stopped in for a snack. I really wish I had been very hungry.

I can’t give a full review of food simply because I just had these spring rolls and some Vietnamese coffee. But, based on what I did try, I know everything else is delicious.

I used to live in California. But, now I’ve moved away. I do visit LA often. I’ll definitely come back in here to try the pho.

I arrived at 9pm (they close 9.30) and unfortunately the girl working here was a bit anxious and rude. I believe it was because we were the last customers and she didn’t want to get any more food orders or tables to clean lol.

However, the food was insanely good. We had the salad rolls with shrimp (to die for) and we got a vegetarian pho and a brisket pho. Both were insanely good and super super super fresh.

They brought the pho condiments and add ons in a plastic bag which i imagine is because they didn’t wanna do dishes, but still pretty lazy of them lol.

Also, 9.25 while we were still eating the lady started turning off the lights and 5 minutes later grabbed the glass of water from my boyfriends hand saying “are you done already” Lol. they were so nervous.

Fun atmosphere, great food & service! We had the Chicken Curry bowl was delish & huge! Served wit fun presentation & Delish to the last slurp. They didn't have alcohol yet but likely soon so check back! Lots of options on large selection of menu items!

I stopped by with friends it was a pretty solid spot for pho and other delicious Vietnamese menu items.

I had the avocado drink, spicy fried soft shell crab, “Lady’s on fire” Spicy Lo Mein Noodles, beef combo pho & braised marinated pork belly with egg & rice.

The avocado drink was good but too much ice overall that you only get a small few gulps of the drink. The soft shell crab appetizer was phenomenal and my favorite dish of the bunch. Perfect flavor and cooked just right.

The lady on fire was an excellent noodle dish. Flavor and spice was on point and it was cooked perfectly. The beef combo pho was also good, the meats were great and the broth was pretty good. A descent bowl of pho.

The braised pork belly was good but I made the mistake of thinking it was going to be fried. It was still a solid dish, the sauce was delicious and sweet. The pork was very tender and flavorful.

Customer service is great but sometimes it can get crowded and there might be some delays due to only a few working, but still a great dining experience.

I’d definitely come back to this spot again to try their other menu items. Parking is valet only or street parking if available.
