“I had stopped here after a very disappointing visit at a different gas station a couple stops back. The hot foot holders and cold food displays were completely empty and it was lunch time. So I had decided to stop at this Gas n Wash and was pleasantly surprised by how stocked the food was and how nice and clean it was displayed. I had a nice conversation with a young lady named Gina who was busy checking the food items and making sure it looked nice. The food I got was hot and fresh. I was very impressed. Next time I travel that direction, I will absolutely be stopping back in.”

“First time visiting this sushi/ramen spot. Please be advised it is small, and there are only 2 tables for dine-in so plan accordingly. Sushi was DELICIOUS and the Kimchi fried rice came out hot and delish as well. I ordered the spider roll and tempura roll which did not disappoint. I also ordered the Pork Gyoza which came out hot and fresh as well. Lastly, I ordered the Jasmin Milk Boba tea which was perfect. Not too sweet but just right. Highly recommend this spot. They also do take-out!”

“Tried this place out for the first time and I gotta tell you it hit the spot. I walked in and the place was empty, I don't know why but it was a nice place well kept and clean also friendly staff. To start they brought chips and salsa and thenI had the Mole Enchiladas dinner which includes a side of refried beans, rice and salad to drink I had a fresh made limeade and it was all very delicious (mole is a bit spicy). I gotta tell you that I almost licked the plate clean. The price was very reasonable I think I spent $15 and actually everything on the menu was reasonably priced. I will definitely be back and hope to see people there. It was a bit sad that I was the only person in there.”

“My 1st time at Draft Picks in Mount Prospect and I wanted to try something new and different before the big day of my kidney donation surgery. The lovely waitress recommended the grilled cheese burger…which is. A burger in-between two grilled cheese 🧀 sandwiches with grilled onions!!! I cut the burger in 1/2 so you can see it on the picture. 🙃 Absolutely delicious 🤤 I couldn’t finish the whole thing and was able to save the other half. The Buffalo Crispy Chicken sandwich was lightly breaded tossed in buffalo sauce, pepper jack cheese, lettuce and tomato 🍅. The sauce was scrumptious and the chicken was soft and crispy. The burgers did not fall apart and we were able to enjoy our meal with the family. The fries 🍟 were hot crispy and pickles were a great garnish to our burgers. Great atmosphere. They have huge televisions where you can easily look up and watch the game. Go cubbies! Plenty of seating area where you can book and have huge gatherings. There’s also an exclusive poker and gambling 🎰 machines. So many drinks 🍺 that you can sit on the bar area and chill. The one major and unsafe flaw was their front door entrance where the cement is cracked, uneven and needs to be redone. If your having a good time inside, you can trip and hurt yourself by falling onto the concrete floor. Please get this done in order to prevent future accidents. ☹️ Other than that they served great food, waitress was super kind, where good people can enjoy their meals whatever the occasion.”

She made our cafe con leches perfect. The foam on top was beautiful. It was so good I drank the whole thing (and I'm lactose intolerant). 😆 They don't have dairy substitutes, so I was glad I had some lactaid pills. Lol. We had the pastries with the Guayaba y queso. That has to be the most delicious pastry I've had in a long time. Flaky, light, and buttery with the perfect amount of Guayaba and cheese. Omg don't miss these pastries. We were there early in the morning, so not everything on the menu was available, but what we had was so good. Their Cuban sandwich is amazing, from that bread that my husband swears is genuine "...just like in Cuba." to the roasted pork, ham, and delicious mustard and pickles. He is Cuban, and he loved it! I have to say that bread does elevate that sandwich to the next level. The steak sandwich is good too, but I think the star is the Cuban sandwich. Their croquettas were crispy and well seasoned. We will come back and try everything. I've read reviews calling this place a gem, and it truly is. Great Cuban food and great service.”

“We arrived around lunch on a Monday. It wasn’t too busy and we were seated immediately. We came solely for the pizza. Between our table we had a thin crust and a deep dish. Overall it was delicious! If you aren't familiar with the cuisine, I'd recommend going with a group of friends who are adventurous eaters. The food is easy to share with others especially if you order small plates and appetizers along with the big dishes. The way our meal was served was in increments - bringing one dish out at a time, and I think that was a clever way of introducing the flavors. I would highly recommend ordering the Amok Trei (fish) it is flavoured in a coconut based sauce and is absolutely mouth watering. If you have a seafood allergy I would double check before going. I believe a lot of the dishes contain fish, fish sauce, or fish or shrimp paste.”

Really good portions Rainbow roll -- California, 5 pieces of fresh fish, which looked to be salmon, tuna, white tuna, shrimp, and yellow tail Spider roll -- Whole soft shell crab, cucumber, avocado, sweet sauce. These always come out thicker, and it was delicious! They also have bento boxes to check out, which was a hard choice to not get. Service was great! Dining area is somewhat tiny... a few booths, a couple of tables, and few seats at the sushi bar, by the chefs. Overall, great food and experience!”

“Well I think we found our new pizza place after our local one closed! They put copious amounts of cheese on these pizzas, their garlic is fresh chopped and they're pepperoni and sausage are divine. We've been ordering the thin crust 16 inch for the two of us and it's more than enough for that day as well as another meal. “So my mother calls me and tells me that I have to try out this new place. Well my mother never says anything is good. So I knew I had to try it. She told me that she had gone to the one in Harvey. My friend had recently told me about her awesome experience at the Orland Park location and since I live closer to Orland I decided to give it a try. Debits (the assistant manager) was very nice caring and professional. I’m not sure that I have her name right, but her daughter is a cashier. Everyone who worked on that day was nice and friendly and the food was really good. I had the Lamb Chops and my husband had the Ribeye steak and he was able to cut it with a butter knife. The food was flavorful and cooked just right. Next time I will have a steak.”
