“Tried this place out for the first time and I gotta tell you it hit the spot. I walked in and the place was empty, I don't know why but it was a nice place well kept and clean also friendly staff. To start they brought chips and salsa and thenI had the Mole Enchiladas dinner which includes a side of refried beans, rice and salad to drink I had a fresh made limeade and it was all very delicious (mole is a bit spicy). I gotta tell you that I almost licked the plate clean. The price was very reasonable I think I spent $15 and actually everything on the menu was reasonably priced. I will definitely be back and hope to see people there. It was a bit sad that I was the only person in there.”

“The food was delicious. Every bite is packed with flavor. If you aren't able to handle spicy food let the server know. If you aren't familiar with the cuisine, I'd recommend going with a group of friends who are adventurous eaters. The food is easy to share with others especially if you order small plates and appetizers along with the big dishes. The way our meal was served was in increments - bringing one dish out at a time, and I think that was a clever way of introducing the flavors. I would highly recommend ordering the Amok Trei (fish) it is flavoured in a coconut based sauce and is absolutely mouth watering. If you have a seafood allergy I would double check before going. I believe a lot of the dishes contain fish, fish sauce, or fish or shrimp paste.”

“So my mother calls me and tells me that I have to try out this new place. Well my mother never says anything is good. So I knew I had to try it. She told me that she had gone to the one in Harvey. My friend had recently told me about her awesome experience at the Orland Park location and since I live closer to Orland I decided to give it a try. Debits (the assistant manager) was very nice caring and professional. I’m not sure that I have her name right, but her daughter is a cashier. Everyone who worked on that day was nice and friendly and the food was really good. I had the Lamb Chops and my husband had the Ribeye steak and he was able to cut it with a butter knife. The food was flavorful and cooked just right. Next time I will have a steak.”

“My wife and I had just come out of the doctor’s office while deciding on whether to go to our usual places to have a bite. We instead decided to look for a nearby restaurant and Rio Tacos appeared on the search among others. She had the carne asada plate and I had a taco dinner. Both dishes were delicious and their red and green sauces were super tasty - we decided to take some home, haha. Oh! Another thing, their horchata was awesome. It’s so hard to find a restaurant with some good horchata like Rio Taco’s restaurant. We’ll be back again.”

“So I went here for the first time using the Too Good to Go app (also for the first time). First off, it was a great amount of food. They usually price a meal like this at $20, which is honestly a little bit much, but we got it for $4.99, which was an INCREDIBLE deal. The taste? Not bad at all! Mac and cheese was cheesy and creamy. Fish was crispy and well seasoned, a wee bit salty for my taste, but not horrible in the least. The sweet potatoes, however, were honestly a little meh. But again, not terrible. I would definitely go back thru app, and I think I will probably be back as a regular customer so I can experience more of what they have to offer.”

“The hot pot is very authentic Sichuan style!! I love it a lot! The sauces and the cold dishes are great. There are two types of fruits offered. Some people don’t like some certain fruits that much. It’s even better if they can offer three to four. I didn’t see sesame oil offered with other sauces. If they don’t offer, they should, but it’s also possible I missed it. The soup bases are amazing!! All three we tried, mushroom, pork bone and spicy oil are very tasty! One attention: I am good at Chinese spicy in general but not originally from Sichuan province. Their spicy oil base is so authentic, which means very very spicy! I think it’s great to be authentic, but I guess most people who were not from Sichuan or surrounding areas may want to start from light spicy. The service, I forgot to mention, was also very great! One server asked me if she needed to help me get extra spices out of the soup base. I thought it was fine to leave them there. Deeply appreciate!! One possible improvement: offer me hand made drinks.”

“Came here to celebrate my friend’s birthday. They got the margarita tower and they said it didn’t taste like it had any tequila in there. I got the mangonada margarita in a bottle and it was delicious! I ordered the quesobirria tacos they were good too, but they seemed a little spicy. “Obbie's is thin and crispy at the edges. It gives you the feel of indulgence with it being very cheesy and slightly greasy. We have ordered pepperoni, sausage, spinach and mushrooms with jalapeños. If you ask for extra sauce, you get it! Italian beef is not available as a pizza topping, which is a must for people that don't eat pork. I'm not crazy about the fries. I've also had their BBQ chicken. That was yum. 😋”
