“This is the best donut shop I’ve ever been to! They offer a large variety of donuts, muffins and kolaches. Our favorites were the shoe lace, raspberry donut holes and crane berry and orange muffins. The service was quick and friendly! They have plenty of tables to sit inside and also a cute donut bench and table for outdoor sitting as well. I think the decor inside the store can be updated to match the quality of the donuts that they sell! The price is veryyy reasonable! I am glade we found this place while visiting Hammond! We will definitely be back again!”

“My boys really like the BBQ pork buns. We usually go on weekends, so there is usually a line, but the wait is never long. They only accept cash and debit cards. “Kolaches are amazing. Perfectly proportioned fillings (traditional favorite apricot, prune, apple) have the right ratio of fruit to filling + pack flavor over sweetness. Dough is akin to a rich challah, spot-on slightly dense and chewy, slightly sweet + hint of yeast. Poppy seed are as good/better than you'll find in Czechia. Savory options are true to Texas. Give them a try, they are delicious, to see if it's your thing.”

“Phenomenal donuts with just as good service. We came kind of late and the owner told us she had 11 donuts left, but she would happily make a fresh batch so we could order a dozen. Not only did she do that, but when I saw a flavor on the specials sign, which I had missed when I was ordering, and asked about it, she threw one in at no cost. These donuts were so good, I couldn't stop thinking about them (especially the raspberry mojito one). We came back again and the donuts and service were exceptional once more. I would 10/10 HIGHLY recommend a stop (or 2) here!”

“This was one of my wife’s favorite places when she lived in Omaha. We visited recently and had breakfast. The pastries looked amazing, and her Carmel roll was really good. She did mention that it used to have a lot more Carmel on it. She had the ham steak and poached eggs. I had the country fried steak. I loved that they had biscuits with it and gravy. There was a pretty decent crowd on a Saturday morning. We didn’t have to wait to be seated. We did not experience any of the negative things mentioned in other reviews about customer service.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Hopkins! Vickey was so pleasant and accommodating when I was arranging a dessert order for my one-yr old’s birthday. Our guests (ages 1 - 72) LOVED the cupcakes (vanilla, chocolate stuffed with ganache and carrot cake), cookies (triple chipper), and cinnamon rolls (the “minis” were huge!). Not only were they delicious but it’s so relieving to be able to provide desserts with CLEAN ingredients. I feel really lucky to have found a great organic bakery near by! I also snagged a pizza scone at pickup and it was amazing - loved the sun-dried tomato and pepperoni bits! Can’t wait to go back!”
