“This little market has all of the essentials that you forgot to pack for your beach house. It is a godsend considering the closest larger grocery stores are a bit of a drive away. If there's something that you forgot to pack (soap, detergent, ingredients), this place will have it . They even have some ready-made meals and a pastry area. Seriously this place has everything that you could possibly need to make it at least a night (if not the rest of your stay) until you get to a full service grocery store the next day.”

Rhonda and her daughter came through in a way that exceeded everything I had hoped for. My husband retired from the Army yesterday. Circumstances had him fly back to NC all the way from Germany a day early which didn't allow the kids and I to spend his retirement day with him. By chance I was guided in Simply Scumptious direction, and let me tell you, after we spoke, I knew God put her there to help me. Her plate was beyond full but she put her busy schedule on hold for a pure stranger and winged it as if it was planned out weeks ago! She baked the cupcakes freshly, added toppers to it, went out and bought the flower bouquet, got the balloons, bought a card and wrote in it what I asked her to write in it, then drove 25 minutes over to deliver them catching my husband full force surprised with a toothbrush in his mouth. She helped make his retirement day special and our family connected even though we are far apart. Yesterday a stranger turned into a friend. And my husband ate one of the cupcakes while on video chat with me. While he said how delicious they were I didn't need his words for it. He was smacking so loudly in my ear, I wanted to hang up the phone! 🤣”

“Walmart is a ever changing place. With the Santa bells outside, and stress faces employees working behind the counter. It's come a long way from the friendly face greeting at the door. ("Welcome to walmart." They used to say) Lately, my experience at Walmart (Biscoe), seems to be a noticeable change in the atmosphere and level of customer service over time. It's not understandable missing the friendly faces and helpful assistance that was once more prevalent at the store. Even more once it was important for businesses to provide a positive shopping experience to their customers, and it seems like there's room for improvement in this particular location. I hope that Walmart takes customer feedback into consideration and works on improving their customer service, restocking proceduress putting up stocks or leaving pallets in the aisles. While customers are shopping in the store, and overall store experience for the elderly. What happen to the blue light sales?The parking lot looks great. It's always great to have friendly and helpful employees, friendly location, who make shopping enjoyable.”

“This place is great!! We stop in here every time we are in town visiting our family. I absolutely love their cheese danishes! My whole family just has to have the chicken salad on the Cresent rolls, they are so delicious! My most recent experience was even more enhanting as this place has started to open their new location with tea rooms, I was invited to a tea at the new location. I am not normally a tea person but this was truly a rememberable event and changed that for me. The teas were delicious and by the end of the evening I wished I lived closer. From the elegant table settings to the remarkable teas and cakes, this was a perfect way to spend an evening! The owner and her team are so nice and deliver top notch service down to every detail. “Dough-Joe's Doughnuts in Winston-Salem was a surprise hit for me. The place is much bigger inside than I thought and has lots of seating spread throughout with outside sitting as well. Staff was courteous and helpful. Place offers all kinds of ready-made desserts like cookies, but the star by far are the fresh made doughnuts. I got three to try, and they were excellently flavored that as I only wanted to try them all, I ended up eating two while sitting there. The dough is not too dense, and being as warm as they were was just fantastic. Worth the stop for sure!”
