Fairgrounds Park Outdoor Roller Skating Rink

Address: MQ8G+QQ, 4061 N Grand Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63107, USA

Park

“Nice, smooth rink, large enough to accommodate a good amount of skaters. There are benches on both sides of the rink, making it easy to sit and change in and out of your skates. There are no public park bathrooms nearby, but there are several businesses right across the road on N Grand. I've skated here many times and there is almost never more than one or two other people there. Truly a hidden gem for St Louis skaters.”

Cherokee Landing

Address: 8344 Berry Rd, Bonne Terre, MO 63628, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“The owner is so friendly and accommodating. We decided to have a last minute camp and float trip and the campground was nice and private right on river front. The river was low so our kayak dragged which is rare for a kayak which does to show the river conditions. Other than that a great trip. I'd def go back again to camp and if the river was higher, float too.”

“Went to Hawn state park October 14, 2023. Had a great time hiking the pickle creek trail, the trail was well marked. I got to see cool rock formations, giant boulders and small waterfalls and cascades. I see why a lot of people like this park. I’ll have to come back here to do the whispering pine trail. Highly recommend visiting!”

Twin Eagle Lake Estates & Hideout

Address: 10000 Twin Eagle Lake Trail, Potosi, MO 63664, USA

Campground Park Real estate agency Travel agency Lodging

“Great campground! Beautiful common areas and lake; scenic but 5 minutes from town with everything you could need. Sites are roomy with brand new hook-ups and nicely level. Hardly a bad site in the place but for a tiny handful I noticed out of well over 100. Many buddy sites and small clusters well-oriented for group camping. The General Store is fully-stocked and even serves fried snacks and drinks if you're inclined. Live music on the weekends. I usually don't like all-gravel parks, but they've actually done an incentible job with it. Will definitely be back for a longer stay in warm weather.”

Big River Outdoors

Address: Mounts Road, Mineral Point, MO 63660, USA

Campground Lodging Park

“What a great event this weekend! Staff and security were absolutely amazing. If you showed up and got cold that's your fault. If you thought the food & drink where too expensive you didn't come prepared. Bathrooms and wash stations were everywhere & clean. If you have common sense and read the venue should of known it was going to be a long one. As far as bringing younger kids I don't think I'd made that choice or if I did I'd camped out. I definitely will be back”

“They have an awesome selection of food. The volunteers are always so nice and helpful.”

Baumgardner Park

Address: 2401 NW Ashton Dr, Blue Springs, MO 64015, USA

“Beautiful park that is well maintained. Pickleball, sand volleyball (with zero weeds), and a baseball field. Most importantly, the shelter has multiple power outlets and PLENTY of shade. Highly recommend, and you can rent the shelter ourlt at minimal cost. You may also bring adult beverages as long as you do so responsibly and pick up after yourself. 10/10 for Blue Springs Park and Rec.”

Tammy's Flower Garden

Address: 1583 W Pearce Blvd, Wentzville, MO 63385, USA

Park

“I have been getting everything I don't grow from seeds from Tammy's since 2017. It is always the best quality for prices you can't find anywhere else in the area. Thanks to Tammy's I have 4 thriving pollinator gardens and good crops every year. The sales they have, like on Mother's Day for hanging baskets, is so good. The price of hanging baskets in general compared to everywhere else feel unreal. I looked forward to Tammy's opening every year and sometimes take a walk through when I just want to look at all the varieties and enjoy the weather.”

Wandering through the park's winding trails is like embarking on a creative journey, and the sculptures scattered throughout make it a visual feast for the senses. With a 1.4-mile walking trail, it's an excellent place for art enthusiasts, families, and anyone looking for a unique outdoor experience. Don't miss the chance to take a break from campus life and explore this treasure trove of creativity in the heart of nature!”

Dames Park

Address: 387 Dames Park Dr, O'Fallon, MO 63366, USA

Park

“When talking about which playground to go to with my kids we don't usually use the official name, we clarify like "the one with the big slide" or "the one with the spinning spider web". This one is " the one with a lot of monkey bars". It also has a log roller which is pretty unique. I love that it's surrounded by the forest and we saw a huge hawk last time we were there. If I had to say anything negative it would be in this wood surrounding next to the park there is an open area that goes towards a pretty steep drop off into a small river. For elementary size kids that's fine, but with a rascally toddler it was not ideal.”

Trailwoods Park

Address: 55 Southwinds Dr, St Peters, MO 63376, USA

Park

“This park is like a little secret that is a delightfull surprise in the middle of a small neighborhood. It is peaceful, has one bench and made me feel that it is my own little garden. I really like it.”

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park

Address: 5300 Fox Crk Rd, Pacific, MO 63069, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“We've come to expect cleanliness, friendly service, and good locations from Jellystone Parks. This park checks those boxes. You will hear the interstate noise day and night but it's not unbearable in a self contained unit. Can't imagine it though in a tent or fold down! There isn't much grass for walking the woofers so be prepared to walk a bit if you have a picky pooch. The sites are close together, but this type of campground is more about a destination and not so much about quiet and relaxing in solitude. The camp store is well stocked with simple items you may forget or suddenly need. The pool looked clean and refreshing. Staff was friendly and a pleasure to chat with. You can get the large campers into the full hookup sites pretty easy. I'm sure it's very busy during prime tourist season. The sunsets are great from the store area looking over the forest valley below! It's a 30 minute drive into downtown St Louis to the arch.”

Happy Hounds Playground - Membership Dog Park

Address: 2448 Pond Rd, Grover, MO 63040, USA

Park

“This beautiful park is our dog’s favorite place on the planet. When my husband first got us the membership, I wasn’t sure it was going to be worth the money, but it totally has been. It’s a lovely place to go spend a couple hours with your dog. Milo loves playing fetch and never tires of going for a swim in the pond.”

August A. Busch. Memorial Conservation Area

Address: 2360 Hwy D, St Charles, MO 63304, USA

Park

“This is a beautiful area with over 30 lakes, which offers a diverse range of recreational activities such as hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, and bird watching. There are still about 100 WWII TNT storage bunkers in the area, and those were fun to see! August A Busch Memorial Conservation Area is a great place to enjoy nature!”

Lone Elk Park

Address: 1 Lone Elk Park Rd, Valley Park, MO 63088, USA

Park

“This is a great park for a drive-through. It's not a place to go and have a big family reunion. You do not feed the animals or even get close enough to touch them. There are a lot of great places to meditate in this park. Unfortunately, this is a park where you DO NOT bring your pets. It's very upsetting for the wildlife in this park to be exposed to our domesticated pets. Please leave them at home. ✌️”

Larimore Park

Address: 11726 Larimore Rd, St. Louis, MO 63138, USA

Park

“Spent most of my time in the woods, not much going on at parks this time of year, I got there at 7 am hoping to use the restroom, was locked unfortunately... Not a big deal, just a heads up the the brush runs into backyards and a street that's a dead end. So if you're not planning on doubling back stay to the left where a small part cuts back to larimore or, take your chances cutting through yards. I wouldn't ever suggest someone goes that route, anywhere. Js”

Dardenne Greenway at BaratHaven Park

Address: BaratHaven Trail, Dardenne Prairie, MO 63368, USA

Park

“🗺 Dardenne Greenway - BaratHaven #️⃣ Greenway 9 of 28 🚴 4.5 mile loop ☀️ 0% Shaded 📈 9/10 📝 Gorgeous greenway! One of my new favorites. I used to live nearby and my wife and I would run around the lake, but I didn’t know that the greenway extended beyond the lake until today. It’s funny, because the lake isn’t even my favorite part – there’s a prairie across the street at Bluebird Meadow Park that is stunning. There’s not a lot of signage, but if you’re at the parking lot by the lake and go right, you’ll soon come upon a fork – left to go around the lake and right to go to the prairie. I liked the prairie so much that I did two laps! The greenway itself doesn’t really have any shade, but there’s another short trail beyond the soccer field that is shaded. There’s also a short nature trail that goes through the woods and by the creek, but it’s washed out and dangerous. I’d recommend sticking to the lake and the prairie. Bonus: with the big sky of the prairie and the reflections on the lake, sunsets here are beautiful!”

Hawk Arrow Springs

Address: 479 Brush Creek Rd, St Clair, MO 63077, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“Any venue scheduled to be on this Land is worth seeing. If you love raw camping this is the place to be. The stunning views are beyond expressing. 200 acres of trees and open area to choose where to settle in. The swim hole creek is gorgeous spring water. Acres of trees. Port a potties and a raw shower area. The Owners make sure the guests are happy. In the middle of nowhere yet 2.5 miles to town for a quick supply run or to browse. Bring hiking shoes! And bug spray too. A must for those campers that love Nature in its raw form!!”

Morse Mill Park

Address: 6700 Park Rd, Hillsboro, MO 63050, USA

St. Francois State Park Campground

Address: Bonne Terre, MO 63628, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“This was our second time camping here. We enjoyed our time there. The people who camp here are very nice the camp hosts were kind. The campgrounds are always so clean when we get there. There wasn't a lot of people in the area we were in so it was nice a quiet. The camping spot we were at was spacious and the bathroom was close. We really enjoy our time at St. Francois.”
