What a fantastic park. The perimeter walk is really peaceful and just the right distance. The old preserved homes and outbuildings are a great slice of history. Wildflower plantings are super cool.
This park is full of hidden beauty to discover. There is a nice paved path around the park and a native wildflower garden near the front. There are many lilac bushes, dogwoods and tulip trees to enjoy.
Such a beautiful, small park. The restrooms at all Town and Country parks are the best in the St. Louis area, but I love how this park has it's own walking path yet connects to the main path along Clayton Road. I usually park at Longview and walk to Drace before heading back. This foliage in this park is absolutely beautiful in the spring and the fall and I always look forward to seeing the change in seasons here.
We enjoyed the short trail around the green space and woods and cabins. Then we 'discovered' the trail into the woods where a few different play experiences were hidden (balance beams, tube tunnel, wooden xylophone but no sticks to play it, and our favorite, a gravel play area). There were also 2 small and new playgrounds and 4 types of swings, including one flat rope disc thing which was low to the ground and 3yo could use on his own. Parking was easy and restrooms were open and clean. Overall, a small and wonderful park.
Great park for our two year old. The new playground is beautiful and age appropriate for young kids.
Great walking trails that can be enjoyed by all.
