“I've rode through this area for the typical "Sunday drive, I've also taken my mountain bike on the path through the area. This last visit was to capture some spring colors since we've been missing that a little this year. It was a damp surface but the walking path was dry enough to walk on and provided access to each of the lake areas in the conservation area. Some seem to be seasonal or at least maybe just temporary as rain falls. It's a unlit area so plan accordingly. It's a great reserve to enjoy some time away from the city life and see what happens in the animal and plant world. :)”

“Something for everyone and worth checking out. This place has a wide variety of things, from purfume to bales of hay, tons of pet supplies (from chicks to horses), hardware, plumbing, electric, clothing, mowers and saws, toys, boots, fencing, candies and sodas. Not much or any lumber. Some of the prices are high but they sale quality products that last. The management is responsive and treated me right on a mower situation. They have a skilled small engine service department that can usually get you fixed in about a week. The older staff is really knowledgeable and helpful, but I find some of younger employees less friendly and customer service aware, hence the four stars. I also wish they installed automatic doors for an easier exit. This is a small chain business with about six locations. Inventory seems to stay well stocked, but if they don't have it they can sometimes pull the item from another store and make it available for pick-up soon.”

“It has a camp ring, flag pole, A big covered picnic area two docks....a little rickety looking but solid and a building for bathrooms with stalls and showers and sinks. Nice trails off the grounds as well. We do boyscout family campout here every year. Nothing you can really complain about.......its camping!????”

“Wish there were more of a play area at the baseball fields (#6) for bored siblings but the shade for them is nice. The baseball fields, dugouts, and bleachers are well kept! There is another park that look nice from afar. Soccer fields are located at the back and there seems to be a ffa barn right before the soccer fields.”
