I have fished with lots of guides across the Gulf of Mexico and Runaway Charters is by far the very best for knowledge of the local fishery for both finding and catching fish. His knowledge and equipment is superior to any other guide services I have used. I am looking forward to my next trip with Captain Cade at the end of February. “I've lived here for over two years now and it is a very pleasant trailer park. Very quiet and everyone minds they own business.Lot rent isn't to bad, starting prices I believe around 250 ~ 300. If you looking to buy a mobile home trailer Freedom Homes works with the Country Creek trailer park so if you need a spot to place a trailer due to lack of land I highly recommend here. Located in downtown Hammond everything is within 5 ~10 minute span.”

“Have stayed here 3 times all fit a fishing trip. First year there was no fridge. Second year read fine. Just recently as 23 July 2021 the first room, a toilet was squeaking so loud even with the door closed you could hear it. Tried fixing it ourselves and didn't work. Would have to pull toilet handle up and jiggle it multiple times. Moved rooms and it was decent. Shower isn't great. But there is a store on the first level that has a little food and a lot of drinks and some shirts and hats. Has 2 fish cleaning stations and a place to hang your fish and take pictures. Can't get much better where it's located in my mind. Marina bar next door with great food and can cook your caught fish if you'd like. For what this place is DESIGNED for and it's LOCATION, devoutly 4 star. If this was in the city it would be a different story. Keep it real.”
