“Really enjoyed the stay here with my cousin and his kids. Brenda was awesome and very accommodating. She even brought us some more firewood later in the evening. The terrain is really rugged for Louisiana or Mississippi. Steep cliffs and nice sandy streams. Really convenient if you wish to visit Clark Creek Waterfalls, Angola Rodeo or the plantation homes in the area. We enjoyed it.”

“This was our first time to visit Lake Rosemound and the inn. Let me just say that it exceeded my expectations. I did not know quite what to expect, but we all had a lot of fun at the beach and riding in the canoe. As for the inn itself, you had the option to be off the grid and play board games, ping pong, billiards, etc. in addition to utilizing his chef's kitchen and eating a lot of ice cream. John was very cordial towards his guests and made a very good breakfast for us. Would definitely stay again...”

“If you ever get the change to stay here, you should. The B&B rooms are excellent and immaculately kept. Hal and his wife are not only excellent hosts, but they own the property too. Their story and those of the previous owners are individually fascinating. Adding to the mix the various big name Hollywood movies and you end up with a totally absorbing and unique tour.”

“Advertised as the most haunted estate in Louisiana. We were not disappointed. Tickets for the guided tour are a must. We enjoyed hearing stories and walking through the spaces seeing how they were decorated. The guide also told us several stories about prior residents and connected some of these people to ghosts who still haunt the estate. In the general store, you can see photos on display showing more evidence of other worldly shades and shadows. Ample parking and gardens to walk through with lots of shade. Good way to spend time while you wait for your tour. While we visited, other guests were arriving to checking in to the bed and breakfast.”

“We had an amazing stay at this plantation. Such a peaceful and beautiful little retreat and yet so easily accessible. We stayed in the pool house and had the pool to ourselves all night!
