“What a wonderful stay! Room was clean and had everything we needed. Ben was very kind and even dropped off some chocolate treats for us. Great location as you can walk to town for food and drinks and there are two great establishments right next door too. We would definitely return if in the area again! Highly recommend Indianhead supper club and Top spot sports bar in town. Both had great food and good service. We didn’t get a chance to go to Vivs, but everyone recommended it to us.”

“When first pulling up I was confused and on first impression this place was nothing I would have expected......looks wise. We pulled in anyways to see what the deal was, here's how it ended..... For only $50 my boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay in a cabin, that although rustic in design, was pretty fully loaded (fridge, oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker, fold out dining table, chairs, full size sofa, queen bed I believe, rotating fan, etc). This place is right on a lake, boats and pontoons and other water toys for rent for extremely cheap. It was minutes ride from Cattail ATV trail and tons of other lakes. I can't say enough positive things about the amenities, the people, our whole experience. We will go back, for the prices they charge you get beyond your money's worth.”

“Brought my Daughter and grandkids for a night. My grandparents had a cabin on Balsam Lake, so as a child I spent many summers here. Lodge is very pretty, our room was awesome. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant. Food was good. It was a bit slow coming out but we used the time to enjoy each other's company and play games instead of complaining. If more people looked at things that way and exhibited a bit more patience there would be no need for negative reviews. We had a great time here.”

“Fantastic views, but prepare for crowds. We hiked the trail to Balanced Rock, Devils Doorway, and Pothole trail. Wonderful views but a difficult hike for many people. The beach areas were well maintained and the lake of gorgeous. We arrived about noon on a Friday and several parking lots were full. I can't imagine what it would be like on a Saturday. The bathrooms at the beach area were acceptable, but needed cleaning. This park is definitely worth a visit, but I would avoid the weekends.”

“Prosper pads owns these apartments as a management company and as such tries to make money. We have felt nothing but love from (Most) of our neighbors to the property manager and even got to speak with a few people higher up. I have nothing but great things to say, they fix our issues within hours most of the time, if upgrades were not needed we did not get them OR THE PRICE INCREASE that other units saw. Some renters are a bit crazy and vandalize the units thinking its their right or are simply too old to be living alone and expect management to act as hospice. As a young couple starting our life this place was great for us, now they have all new siding, roofs and pavement all throughout! 11/10 Rich is the man, thank you for all you and the team have done it will not be forgotten!”

The scenery is breathtaking, the lodge is gorgeous and the memories will last a lifetime. Jen and Steve were a joy to work with. “The front entrance was super cute with stuffed wildlife. Instantly loved the environment. I had room 220 on the second floor and I was pleased with how quiet it was. The parking lot was full and when I woke up, there were no cars in the lot and I hadn't heard any commotion in or outside. I booked my room two days in advance for a fair price of $107. Cheapest one around with a huge event going on. Only mild complaint was there was some trash under the beds and some flies on the ceiling but the room was clean and the sheets smelled good so I honestly didn't mind. I had a better experience at this motel than I did with most name brand hotels.”

“This was a very comfortable and welcoming Inn! It was an easy check in/out process. The bed/ bedding was quality and crisp! The bed was very comfortable, we were in the Cooper Suite, and it had both a tub and also a shower. Bath Bombs were available to buy downstairs. A nice touch was that there was a specific parking space for each room. The breakfast was just perfect each day. Not a typical muffin /coffee. Jennifer gave us suggestions for dinner, and we went to the Old Mill, it was a great environment and good food. If there was one thing that would have been nice for us, it would have been that the music was not quite so loud at the speakeasy, however, they did close at 10, so it didn't go on till all hours of the night. We will be recommending to friends and family, and hope to come back soon :)”

“I stayed at Mary Ann's place over this Summer of 2017 and she is a kind, caring person who has a wonderfully large piece of property that is beautifully laid out. It is tranquil and peaceful, she is a warm host. She has a simple home on the organic farm. Mary Ann trains students who learn organic farming from her. I happened to have met once such young farmer (in his 20's) from France while I was staying at her B&B. I really enjoyed my stay there.”

“This was the best KOA we've ever stayed at! The campground was well maintained and clean, they pick up your trash every morning. Two playgrounds, disc golf, a huge open green space for the kids to run and play. Pool area was very nice. Showers were very clean, laundry room was very nice. You can order food to be delivered to your campsite or poolside. Our site was big and I love how they put the fire rings in the ground with rock surrounding it. Little things like that make a huge difference. Overall very happy with our stay, we will definitely be visiting again!”

“Our family made a trip to Big Rock last night and I have to say that it was truly a magical evening! We were so impressed at how organized this event was. An added plus was the free parking. The lines for food/beverages were short and moved fast. There were lots and lots of fire pits available as well as restrooms. The winter market was so fun with some really unique vendors. We would definitely go back. If you haven’t visited Big Rock yet, you need to add it to your bucket list!!!!”
