“This was a very comfortable and welcoming Inn! It was an easy check in/out process. The bed/ bedding was quality and crisp! The bed was very comfortable, we were in the Cooper Suite, and it had both a tub and also a shower. Bath Bombs were available to buy downstairs. A nice touch was that there was a specific parking space for each room. The breakfast was just perfect each day. Not a typical muffin /coffee. Jennifer gave us suggestions for dinner, and we went to the Old Mill, it was a great environment and good food. If there was one thing that would have been nice for us, it would have been that the music was not quite so loud at the speakeasy, however, they did close at 10, so it didn't go on till all hours of the night. We will be recommending to friends and family, and hope to come back soon :)”

“The house was absolutely perfect for our group of six. We rented both the downstairs and upstairs and had plenty of space to relax. Our group was in town for a Wisconsin football game and the Victorian was a short 25 minute drive to Madison. The house sits right in the middle of downtown Cambridge making for an easy walk to the local restaurants and stores. Carol was a delight to work with and provided lots of great recommendations for our visit. The house had everything we needed -comfortable beds, cozy furniture, plenty of towels, and beautifully remodeled kitchens and bathrooms.”

“I have stayed at about half a dozen bed and breakfast in America. This is the best one. The hosts are very dedicated, attentive and hospitable. They responded to email promptly throughout my reservation process. Rob gave me a nice introduction of the place and my room after I checked in to ensure that I was well settled in. It is an old house but the property was well-maintained and nicely decorated. I stayed in the Garden Room on the first floor. It is tastefully decorated. There are a lot of attention to details. For instance, because the door is an old wooden heavy sliding door, there is a curtain to cover the room entrance also for privacy so when I chose to step out to relax in the lounge or living room or just grab water from the fridge, I could leave the room door open without bothering to close the sliding door. Even though the sink in the bathroom is a pedestal sink, there is a small table to put my toiletries. Another great thing is how they serve breakfast. First, they have a menu of items for guests to select the day before and the serving time of breakfast is flexible, so guests can choose to start their day at any time instead of everyone making it to the table at the same time and just asking the guests for their dietary restriction in the reservation. The quality of the breakfast is quite good too. The house is large and there is a lot of space for guests to relax: living room, patio and another lounge with a nice bay window. This bed and breakfast is within walking distance to downtown Mt Horeb and also an easy half an hour drive from Madison. I highly recommend staying here over staying in a Bed and Breakfast/Inn in Madison, which is much more expensive and may not be the same quality. The hosts are friendly and I enjoyed their conversations.”

“Forgive me for not knowing all the right words but this perfect little guest house was everything we needed this weekend. Since hotels seemed out of the question with it being in Covid season, we were able to stay in this perfectly private guest home and enjoy time with just the two of us. There are many local restaurants with great food and craft beers for us to try.. I look forward to more visits here in the future.”

“I've stayed here 3 different times in my RV. Wintered there 2012. Lot's are small but this is the only place in the area that will accept an RV after Oct. Restrooms and laundry room are operable all winter. This is a very nice mobile home park and we will stay here anytime my work brings me here in the winter. Carl the manager is easy to work with. No complaints.”

“Pricier than other campgrounds in the area but great fun for the family. They have a very cute shop with everything you need, are minutes from town, and have nice full-hookup spots. Amenities include a bouncy pillow, swimming pond with giant floating slides, bikes/tricycles for rent, playground, giant chess, and more. Plus, the train for the amusement park comes through in the summer to pick people up to go - there's also a great walking path straight to the amusement park gates!”

The Food was outstanding whether it was a chicken sandwich from the bar or the 1'' thick prime rib dinner that I would put up against any 5 star restaurant in Chicago. Wait staff was great. “Much better than expected, had to stay here due to a flight being cancelled and for whatever reason most hotels were either sold out or extremely expensive. Only needed it from 10pm-5am anyways so I wasn’t picky. I was given a room that was very spacious it had an entire living area as well as a huge bed. Bathroom was clean. Very pleased.”
