“Chris and his crew made our first trip on the river an amazing event. We were welcomed like we were family. The accommodations were perfect for a getaway on the river, the bait shop was stocked with everything you will need. I highly recommend hiring Chris for a day on the river, his knowledge of the river is second to none. He had us on fish within 10 minutes of setting up. He shared his tactics of fishing and the history of the area. The show the Eagles put on for us was just a bonus!!!! I would recommend Everts and Winchester Adventures to anyone looking for a great getaway.”

“Nice place. Great beach. Nice bathrooms. Caretaker Bob was great! Tent area is cool. But sites are close together and it's a narrow spot so you litteraly have to walk through people's campsite to walk to bathroom. But not a huge deal.”

“Google says that this park is permanently closed. The truth is, it was never closed and is open as it has always been. My original review was about the accuracy of googles info. Not for the park itself. But I've updated the review to reflect the park. Yards are larger than any other park in the area. Things are pretty Quiet around here after 9 pm. Two major plusses for an old retiree!”

“Very rustic feel in the room. Nicely decorated. I'm disabled, and the bed was too high for me. But Blessing took care to give me equipment that eased my stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the room even had a scent diffuser to make it smell fresh. Little touches in this charming hotel made all the difference. I highly recommend this motel.”

“This is a great little motel. The rooms are very basic, but they have everything someone needs for a night's rest and a table and mini fridge too. There are parking spots in front of each unit and overflow parking in the restaurant and bar parking lot that's connected. There's a gas station next door for an ATM and basic amenities. It was clean, easy to access via a locking keypad and keycode, and a short walk to downtown.”

“We stayed at the Port over the weekend and had a fantastic, comfortable and relaxing stay. We booked the Mississippi suite and it was so cute and trendy! The beds were fantastic, the room was clean and had everything we needed. The welcome gift was well thought out. I appreciated the provided ear plugs as I thought the sound from the train tracks being so close would keep me up at night, but I didn't hear the trains at all. Check-in was convenient and the owner is so responsive to text messages (which is very appreciated). I highly enjoyed the electric fireplace in the room, it made it cozy. It was centrally located to the fantastic downtown establishments. What a wonderful place, we will most definitely be back if we're in the area again.”

“I am a lifetime Platinum with a zillion at a competitor chain. I consider it the gold standard and seldom stay any were else. This hotel was incredible especially since it was in the middle of a Bluegrass festival so the town was packed. Laura, the Manager was amazing and able to set us up in a room at the last minute. The Hotel was well located in the town with views of the river. The Staff was great. The restaurant, every though not part of the hotel ownership, was connected to the hotel and had upscale food at a blue collar price.”
