“Our kid loves ice cream cake, but I wanted to try something different this year, and since we had Mario Party decorations and they had a star cake option, I thought PERFECT! We went with vanilla and marshmallow sky with crumbled cookies. Everyone LOVED it. Since it's just ice-cream and not cake (kids really don't eat the cake anyways just the icing lol) the kids actually ate a whole piece! We were shocked that this "cake" actually went, and everyone asked us where we got this delicious cake.”

“First time there or even in the area and I was very pleased. The shopping plaza looks like a small outlet mall type of area. Lots of places to shop and plenty of places to eat and even a movie theater. Parking can be hard to find. This particular restaurant was (I think) right I'm the middle. It had outdoor seating and right in front of it was a large area where kids were playing. I saw some dogs on the patio too. The atmosphere was inviting and had lots of TVs for sports watching. It was also clean. The staff, all of them which is rare, were all friendly and eager to assist. Our waitress was friendly and attentative to our needs. As for the food, it was all delicious and warm and they were good sized portions for meals. I was pleasantly surprised.”

“I moved to Colorado and truly miss great restaurants. I've been hunting for a good chicken restaurant and found nothing close. The first place I went to the first week back in Texas was Chicken E's. I lived on chicken for three days straight. Everyone has their favs, mine is the fried chicken & okra. The kids love the chicken strips & corn nuggets. Their meals continue to be generous and high quality, which is saying a lot today. Oh, their tea is great too. The only negative is that now I'm hungry and they're not not open right now! I know what I be havin tomorrow. I highly recommend you try it soon because you'll be a fan too.”

“I took my husband here for his birthday, in May, due to the high reviews and his love of seafood. I also invited my family to join in and surprise him. The food was delicious and the service is impeccable! I don't work far from this restaurant either so I have now brought my team of coworkers to Shoal Creek Tavern at least 10 times now. Additionally, my family and I have quickly become "regulars". Our favorite staff members are Ashley, Garrett, & JR. The manager is awesome as well! She greets each and every person in the restaurant and makes sure all your needs are met. I definitely would recommend Shoal Creek Tavern!”
