“The Pineapple Yacht was a must try of this ice cream shop. it located in a wired passway to the beach which was bit hard to find. Thankfully some one marked the entrance on google review. The Pineapple Yacht was made from local banana and is plant based. For me. the smooth taste beat most other diary free ice cream i have eaten. May is that made of the blue java banana AKA ice cream Banana. Any way i hope if they have develop a pineapple ice cream version of this pineapple yacht. Which will be more awesome. Recommend for everybody to try when visiting Wakiki.”

“No idea what this was. Just that it looked like donuts with fillings. Decided to give it a try. Comes in a box of 3 and you can mix-n-match any flavours. O.M.G...its really good! Freshly made when ordered... Perhaps tats the difference. Soft chewy texture with just the right amount of sugar coating. Perfect dessert after the poke bowl!!”

“The best Luau I've been too, and I've been to many. The location was absolutely beautiful, with the backdrop of the gorgeous Pacific Ocean and Diamond Head for sunset. The show was well put together, a great balance of entertainment throughout the evening. For dinner there was "storytelling" covering the history of the islands, with music, singing and Hula. Later, after we finished dinner, the show had a lot more energy, with Tahitian and fire knife dancing under a starry Hawaiian night sky. It was perfect! Dinner was Pacific Rim style. My kids, normally picky eaters, enjoyed the food, to my surprise. We traded a couple items but there was plenty, with nice presentation and great variety. My Mom has allergies and the chef prepared a delicious plate for her dietary restrictions. The staff did an amazing job. Our server, Grant, checked on us often was on top of any requests throughout the entire evening. The supervisor, Nicole, stopped by and took some photos of us to capture the memorable event. She was truly a joy, full of smiles and made us feel complete at ease. She was even able to find some fresh milk for my daughter. Aha 'Aina Luau was a perfect balance of entertainment, food, service for a great family event in a stunning location.”

“This restaurant is overlooking the beach right next to the Sheraton. The ocean view was great. Literally sitting right next to the beach. They had some live music going as well. The server was helpful and suggested what food to order. We got the pork nachos and lemongrass chicken wings and both dishes were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! It was a bit pricey but the view and food quality made it worth it”

“We were so impressed by this place that we ate here twice in one day! We had the shrimp tacos, garlic shrimp, shave ice, smoothie and the amazing Bubble Waffle! Oh Em Gee! “Took a minute to find the shack but I'm glad we kept looking. Didn't realize it was located down the surfboard alley. It's actually a really cool location once you find it. Service was excellent. “The food is delicious. I was surprised for it being a poolside bar and grill, and it was great food. There is music starting at 6pm and the atmosphere is relaxed. They played local music and many times people from the audience would get up and Hula to the song. Fun place to visit for music, food and a relaxing time.”

“We have eaten at the Surf Lanai many times.......We were so lucky to have Dana as our server yesterday.....She is delightful in a way that is so rare to see. When I complimented her on her treatment to everyone she was serving, her response was all customers were treated as friends in her yard....and the restaurant was her yard.......If I was looking to hire someone in a restaurant, Dana would be at the top of my list......everything was perfect.......”
