Penny's Waikiki Malasadas

No idea what this was. Just that it looked like donuts with fillings.

Decided to give it a try. Comes in a box of 3 and you can mix-n-match any flavours.

O.M.G...its really good! Freshly made when ordered... Perhaps tats the difference. Soft chewy texture with just the right amount of sugar coating. Perfect dessert after the poke bowl!!

I liked the fact that it was fresh everything was made after order was put in. I tried coconut cream, Ube cream, and pumpkin pie cream I think they were ok. The filling wasn’t exactly custard consistency they were too watery. This is still a good place to try, but I would still prefer Leonard’s based on taste and texture of the malasada.

These malasadas were amazing, fluffy, full of custard, warm and chewy and fresh. The coconut ones were especially good, I do recommend letting them cool a bit or you'll have melted custard all over your shirt because they serve them right out of the fryer.
