“Came from Eagle Pass for work related and decided to look for a healthy lunch place and I found it! This place has great variety of meals, I tried the Macarena Special, with chicken and shrimp and is riquisimo! I'm glad I stopped and ate here, really good. Kuddos to the chef and owners! “Sushi became quite popular, in Laredo, a number of years ago. Kyoto was the first place and it was the precursor of things to come. The restaurant was quite good but the chef was hired away from Kyoto by another restaurant. We have ordered the squid salad, on past visits, which is quite good. We normally order fresh rolls that are spicy. They contain jalapeno or Serrano peppers and a spicy mix of some sort. The fish is always fresh tasting. Many of the items on the menu include breaded or cooked items, to appeal to all palettes.”

“I stopped by at 6 and the place was almost empty. That changed as it got closer to 7. The wine selection is good as is the service. I started with a house salad which included artichoke hearts and walnuts. The dressing was a decent vinaigrette. I would have liked some kind of a strong flavored cheeses but it was good. I decided to have veal Marsala for my meal. The sauce was nicely flavored and the veal was tender.”
