“I've been here several times. This Hey Mikey's always has great service and equally as good ice cream. They always seem to be making waffle cones so it's almost guaranteed to be freshly made they have an outside seating area that is also pet friendly and across the street they play live music. so you can hear that as well while you enjoy your ice cream. Staff always seems friendly and invites you to return.”

“I had a fantastic evening at this place. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting. The bartender stood out with their friendliness and whipped up the best mock-tail I’ve had in town. The entertainment was top-notch; karaoke set the mood initially, and as the evening progressed, a live band took the stage, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. The Tequila Sunrise was expertly crafted - not too strong, just perfect. I did try the fried pickles, which were a tad on the salty side, but that’s a minor detail in an otherwise delightful experience. The staff’s approachability was evident as they checked in more than once for music requests. I’d definitely recommend this place for a lively night out!”

“It's been a while since we had a crispy fried chicken so we decided to try them out. This spot is in a Tanger outlets mall food court. Once we get there we were handed a sample of chicken pieces and boy it was good. I ordered three pieces of mix chicken which comes with two pieces of dark meat and one white meat, side of your choice and fountain drink. My wife got 4 pieces of chicken tenders. Also we got Cajun zinger sandwich to go. Chicken was very crispy, juicy and fresh. Fries were not that fresh but they were good. I didn't care about them because my focus was on the chicken. Tenders were very flavorful and delicious. After getting home we tried Cajun zinger sandwich which was very good too. Overall experience was great. Food was delicious and service was fast and hospitable. Forgot to mention their BBQ, honey mustard sauces were awesome!”

“Moved to Galveston the first of the year, and I have lamented the lack of edible Chinese food on the island. We ventured to Texas City today and before we left, I used Google Maps to find all the Chinese restaurants in the area. Found and chose this one based on the recent reviews. They did not steer us wrong on this! First, it is in a non-de script shopping center that doesn't look too inviting. Nevertheless, we entered and due to the time of day, all of the help were eating lunch, so I felt a little guilty interrupting. They invited us in and made us feel welcome. It's a fairly small dining room with probably around a dozen tables. They also appear to do a pretty good takeout business as well. Anyway, after being seated, our waiter was a boy (son of owner) about 10-11 years old. He was masked, polite, and professional. He knew all about the food as well, with good descriptions as well! Since it was a little before 3pm they were still running off the lunch menu, even on a Saturday! I ordered General Tso chicken with WonTon soup, and my wife ordered the Coconut Shrimp and Spring Roll. The food came out in less than 10 minutes both Hot and FRESH! Everything was perfect with no complaints on anything. Our waiter made sure we had everything we needed, including refills. VERY impressed with his maturity and professionalism! When I paid, I was assured that he kept all of the tip. Got extra from us...and we will return. I took a photo of my plate as an after thought, and still had it on macro, so the quality is lacking. But, as you can see, for a combo lunch...there is a LOT of food!”

“MOMMA LYNN! THANK YOU! My 1st time eating here and definitely won't be the last! I showed up at 2:15PM on a Tuesday. I ordered and she let me know it was going to take about 20 mins [freshly cooked]. It smelled so good while waiting outside, reminded me of home. I got the small portion [1] Fried Pork chop meal, comes with 2 sides, I choose Mac and cheese and cornbread dressing. Can't go wrong with Mac. The chop was fried crispy, juicy perfection. Cornbread [stuffing] dressing was baked this morning and delicious. Mac had a generous topping of melty cheese 🧀. My wife got the fried chicken small portion [3 piece] wings and drums. Momma Lynn tried a new batter on these and it was nice, crispy, just the right amount of spice, maybe a tad bit on the salty side but very delicious. Maybe my taste buds aren't used to the saltiness anyways everything was awesome! Momma Lynn will make your tummy full and your heart melt! Such a sweet lady so get up and go support her! From what I’ve read about dress code violations and stuff.. in the beginning your main goal should be to get as many bodies I. As possible…. With minor dress code sacrifices .. the more bodies you get in.. the more money you make. We were offered a cabana several times which again sounded awesome.. but you don’t want to buy a section at a place that’s empty because the point is in a crowded club you have a place to sit.. last but not least it was a little bright I. There and around the bar.. the brightness was a bit of a buzz lol… so I give it 4 out of 5.”
