“T’s food is fantastic! I stopped by to have the Wednesday special (Vermicelli salad), and it was perfect. The BBQ pork was tender and delicious. The shrimp were fresh and flavorful. For a little more than ten bucks, I had a marvelous lunch. It takes a little while to get your plate, but good food takes time. Very well worth it! It’s also nice to sit and enjoy the view of the bay while you have your lunch.”

“Wow what a treat! Needed a quick bite on our way to Houston and Chef DonKey delivered. It’s a little hidden gem and we missed the turn but a quick U-turn fixes that. Beautiful road side stop covers picnic tables next to the river lovely breeze even better food. We got the brisket sandwiches comes with chips and a soda. Brisket was tender and flavorful. Comes out in a lunch bag which adds to the vibe. Chef DonKey was friendly, we had a pleasant conversation. Definitely recommend and will stop by next time we are around 10/10”
