“I really really like this place a lot it's a hole-in-the-wall it's in the hood this one location anyway my homeboy and I get took me there we were going to do barbecue but they were closed and so we decide to do fish Everything it was worth the wait I'll tell you everything was piping-hot I'm not getting any it was hot in there to begin with this poor woman all she has is a giant fan and no AC and it was boiling in there with the fan oh but this woman she knew her stuff and it was worth the way I mean I couldn't even eat the flies for like 5 minutes cuz it was so hot but that's perfect though and the fish right on point the onion rings were amazing it was the right level of unhealthy Grease however it wouldn't be the same without a certain amount of real you know oil that flavors I know we have all this healthy stuff but when you go to a place like that or get healthy people that go in there and try to order a Caesar salad and Amanda is just ridiculous know you're going there for the grease and the deep fry and the amazing freaking food that it was”

“Recommended by my new dentist’s office staff, first time visiting this restaurant. The food is authentic with generous portions and homemade tortillas. The service was prompt and friendly with the waitress checking on me 3 times during my meal. Two salsas were on the table and I received a basket of tortillas chips and salsa when the menu was provided. A bakery case caught my eye when I first entered but I resisted (it was difficult). They have a large parking lot and a drive thru for those with less time. I gave them 4 stars because the bathroom was so small that the stall door hit the toilet and entry for wheelchair users could be a challenge.”

“I ordered ahead through the app (yay free any size fries Mondays!) but got there right at closing time because this isn't my usual location, and I didn't account for how long it would take to get there (I just trusted that Google Maps had the estimated time to get there was right - I didn't add the 10 minute buffer that's just a smart practice/ good idea, because you know... s&×t happens) and the staff was just awesome about it. They could have said, "Sorry, we're closed already; we'll be sure to credit your account for the inconvenience and refund your money," but instead, I got super fresh food and friendliness. Kudos, guys - much appreciated!!! 👏”

“Absolutely amazing. I went to four BBQ places and this was the one that stood out the most. We ate here three times out of our well long visit to San Antonio. It came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. The brisket had a perfect Texas bark that you’d expect. The ribs were perfect, they came right off the bone with just the right tug. We tried a variety of sides, my favorite was their potato salad, just how my grandmother made it. Their slaw was fresh, and the cracked pepper added a great flavor, it made it very Texas. And their sauce, they had ketchup based sauce that was good, but the spicy sauce!! It was a fusion of BBQ flavors with the perfect amount of heat, perfect! I definitely will come back.”

I got the Combo for about 14$ and got Brisket and Chicken for the meat; Mac & Cheese and cream corn as the sides and hot damn it was tasty. I was planning on saving some for after work but I couldn't resist and inhaled it all. The meats were nice and juicy, mac and cheese was one of the best Ive had at a restaurant. The cream corn was good, but it was missing something to make it great, maybe some fresh black pepper and maybe a tad more salt, but it was still tasty. ONLY DOWNSIDE... theres almost no seating, this is an order and go eat somewhere else or bring your own seating kind of thing. I wont count it against them though, since its basically a food truck right now. Excited to go back to try out that Brisket topped GTO Burger next.”
