“We were pleasantly surprised! This place has always been great but we had not been there since before the coronapocolypse. We debated between this place and the larger buffet around the corner. We made the right decision with the Hong Kong Palace. The buffet is a bit smaller but the quality of the food is leagues ahead of the “big buffet cattle call” place down the street where it always feels like the staff is throwing shade at the customers. The staff was friendly almost to a fault, the food was fresh and the choices were various and delicious. The kimchi was deceptively plain looking but knocked my socks off and cleared out my sinuses. The hot and sour soup was exactly the way I like it, we ordered 2 containers to go because I knew I would be craving some more later in the day. The price was good, about what you’d expect. The real take away here is getting to satisfy my Chinese food buffet craving with a thoughtful selection of food that tasted like the chef cared about the preparation. Quite pleased and we will be making our back here again very soon. Don’t let the exterior fool you. Yes, they are open and definitely worth your time.”

“Great food. I ordered four separate items the pastor gordita, pastor torta, puppy taco, and a fajita taco. All were very good but my favorite was the pastor Gordita. I just wish they would not cut all the way through the gordita and actually pack the inside of the gordita with all that goodness. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing keeping it from a 5* was the amount of hot sauce you get in a to go order. I didn’t know cups came that small and to get a extremely small amount of sauce in a cup was aggravating. Other than that Every time I’m in Beeville, TX and in the mood for Mexican food this is my go to place hands down. Keep up the good work.”
