“I live in Dickson TN, I have my regular vet, that we have used for many many years now, when my little senior baby girl, which she is my best friend, my world my everything, and our vet said that they didn't do the TPLO surgery, that they had a surgeon come in and do it, I was worried, but I trust our vet with everything... That being said my daugder's surgery was scheduled for Tuesday October 12, 2021...... I was so nervous, I had found groups on Facebook, that helped me prepare for this surgery... That afternoon I received a phone call from a very very sweet man by the name of Mr Nunley, he had told me that they did do the bilateral ( both legs at the same time) TPLO surgery on my little senior princess, she turned 11 years and 6 months old on Thanksgiving day, she's anemic and also has an autoimmune disorder, so I knew the healing process and everything else was going to be against us... But I followed everything as closely as I could by Dr Nunley's rules on the healing process, even though she had jumped out of the bed a few times but that was about the only thing she had done... So, Wednesday December 1, 2021 we go in for the 8 week post op check up with our vet and x-rays to see how well Ms.Punkin has healed, they call me back and my vet was like well I can't lie I'm absolutely impressed and amazed that she has healed this wonderful and she's doing great!!!! I was so estatic, so happy, I couldn't believe it!!!! I came home, hit my knees crying, praising God, praising my little baby girl my best friend my world my daugder Punkin, had to send Mr Nunley a email thanking him, it's a very very very long, nerve racking healing process, but it's so worth it!!!!! If you or anyone y'all know, and their four-legged baby needs TPLO surgery, I highly highly highly recommend this God sent gentleman, right here Mr Nunley!!! He is wonderful, amazing, awesome, very very very respectful!!! I'm so glad that this is the gentleman that my vet uses, I've read so many stories in some of those groups on Facebook that scared me so bad, people that couldn't get in touch with their surgeon's and I called the office one time and the receptionist told me that Dr Nunley was in and out of surgery that day so it might be the next day before he could return my call, I said that's ok, within two (2) minutes my phone rang and it was Dr Nunley..... That y'all is what you call taking care of your patients!!! I sure wasn't expecting a call that quickly, but it made me extra extra happy to know that he cared enough about my little girl to call back that soon...... Give Dr Nunley the chance to make your baby happy again like he did Punkin, I know you will be just as pleased as I am!!!! Thank you so much sir, Mr, Dr Nunley, if you read this... I greatly greatly greatly greatly appreciate you, you just don't know how much!!!!!!!!!!!”

Dr. Amy is my favorite, but they’re all fantastic! She will try everything possible before euthanasia. That’s a big deal for me as too many vets are willing to “throw in the towel” these days. “Our fur baby is not the most friendly of dogs. She is testy around strangers and has been known to nip us, as well as others. We chose this facility so she could be sedated while grooming to protect others; as well as keep her calm through the process. On the 2nd visit, Maggie walked on a leash away from her daddy with no issues. (She doesn't walk on a leash for us) On the 3rd visit, she allowed the employee take her from her dad's arms. No nipping, no biting, not even a growl! We are beyond pleased with the groomers, as well as the staff. We are comfortable leaving our baby there knowing that she will be calm among her vet family. We tell her she is going for spa day and she knows she is going to get the royal treatment. Thank you all for loving our baby. It truly shows in how she responds to your staff. “I found my pet Birman dead in a neighbors drive way. He did not have any obvious injuries and had not been sick. I spoke with my vet and she recommended the C. E. Kord Animal Disease office at the Ellington Agricutural Center on Hogan Road to do an autopsy. An autopsy was done and the pathologist said he died of blunt force trauma. I asked if he had been hit by a car and she said yes. This office and pathologist were so kind to me and I had an answer the very next day.”

“I was here last year because my cat had cancer and they were the most reasonably priced. I also had her teeth cleaned while she was in surgery and since she's been so happy instead of lethargic and grumpy. Its been over a year and the cancer has not come back. She's still herself but has gotten so small. I went again and found out her labs were perfect but her thyroid levels were through the roof. They have in home lab testing so I was able to learn immediately. They thoroughly went over four options with me and the estimated costs. I've started on a recommended treatment and will see how it works. I'll be back in three weeks to see if there's any progress. The staff is very considerate, understanding and welcoming. My cat is 15 and I'll trust they do right by her. I've been to another vet since I moved go byhalia in olive branch and they do not compare.”

“I cannot say enough good things about WesVet, Dr Schoonover and his team. I am a veterinarian myself and even vets need a good vet to take care of their pets! I can’t be objective with my own pet’s care. So I entrust her care to Dr Schoonover. My cat is nearly 18 years old and he recently did a thorough exam, a long dental with extractions, ear flush, and a skin biopsy. The intake staff were friendly and her nurse (Taylor I think?) reflected all of my cat’s pertinent history to me after I told her about my kitty so I knew she was listening and had the details correct. Her anesthesia tech kept an old kitty stable and comfortable. That’s no easy feat! Her mouth is now healed and she’s eating better than she has in a year or more. I would certainly take her back again and again if she needed it!”

Dr. Stewart was amazing I took my sweet girl mia to get spayed and everything went perfect and the communication was amazing. I received a text the next day asking how she was doing ( which is so thoughtful!). My dog had a little complication not being calm after her surgery and I texted the number late in the evening and I got a response so quickly and they were able to schedule me to come in the next day so they could treat mia due to her wound having some complications ( due to my dog not the vet). Amy and deb were AMAZING at making me feel comfortable and being so gentle with my sweet girl mia. The communication and service from Amy was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking. Like I said I usually don’t leave reviews but this was an amazing experience for both me and mia!”
