“I live in Dickson TN, I have my regular vet, that we have used for many many years now, when my little senior baby girl, which she is my best friend, my world my everything, and our vet said that they didn't do the TPLO surgery, that they had a surgeon come in and do it, I was worried, but I trust our vet with everything... That being said my daugder's surgery was scheduled for Tuesday October 12, 2021...... I was so nervous, I had found groups on Facebook, that helped me prepare for this surgery... That afternoon I received a phone call from a very very sweet man by the name of Mr Nunley, he had told me that they did do the bilateral ( both legs at the same time) TPLO surgery on my little senior princess, she turned 11 years and 6 months old on Thanksgiving day, she's anemic and also has an autoimmune disorder, so I knew the healing process and everything else was going to be against us... But I followed everything as closely as I could by Dr Nunley's rules on the healing process, even though she had jumped out of the bed a few times but that was about the only thing she had done... So, Wednesday December 1, 2021 we go in for the 8 week post op check up with our vet and x-rays to see how well Ms.Punkin has healed, they call me back and my vet was like well I can't lie I'm absolutely impressed and amazed that she has healed this wonderful and she's doing great!!!! I was so estatic, so happy, I couldn't believe it!!!! I came home, hit my knees crying, praising God, praising my little baby girl my best friend my world my daugder Punkin, had to send Mr Nunley a email thanking him, it's a very very very long, nerve racking healing process, but it's so worth it!!!!! If you or anyone y'all know, and their four-legged baby needs TPLO surgery, I highly highly highly recommend this God sent gentleman, right here Mr Nunley!!! He is wonderful, amazing, awesome, very very very respectful!!! I'm so glad that this is the gentleman that my vet uses, I've read so many stories in some of those groups on Facebook that scared me so bad, people that couldn't get in touch with their surgeon's and I called the office one time and the receptionist told me that Dr Nunley was in and out of surgery that day so it might be the next day before he could return my call, I said that's ok, within two (2) minutes my phone rang and it was Dr Nunley..... That y'all is what you call taking care of your patients!!! I sure wasn't expecting a call that quickly, but it made me extra extra happy to know that he cared enough about my little girl to call back that soon...... Give Dr Nunley the chance to make your baby happy again like he did Punkin, I know you will be just as pleased as I am!!!! Thank you so much sir, Mr, Dr Nunley, if you read this... I greatly greatly greatly greatly appreciate you, you just don't know how much!!!!!!!!!!!”

“I found my pet Birman dead in a neighbors drive way. He did not have any obvious injuries and had not been sick. I spoke with my vet and she recommended the C. E. Kord Animal Disease office at the Ellington Agricutural Center on Hogan Road to do an autopsy. An autopsy was done and the pathologist said he died of blunt force trauma. I asked if he had been hit by a car and she said yes. This office and pathologist were so kind to me and I had an answer the very next day.”

“I cannot say enough good things about WesVet, Dr Schoonover and his team. I am a veterinarian myself and even vets need a good vet to take care of their pets! I can’t be objective with my own pet’s care. So I entrust her care to Dr Schoonover. My cat is nearly 18 years old and he recently did a thorough exam, a long dental with extractions, ear flush, and a skin biopsy. The intake staff were friendly and her nurse (Taylor I think?) reflected all of my cat’s pertinent history to me after I told her about my kitty so I knew she was listening and had the details correct. Her anesthesia tech kept an old kitty stable and comfortable. That’s no easy feat! Her mouth is now healed and she’s eating better than she has in a year or more. I would certainly take her back again and again if she needed it!”

“My three babies were very sick. Dr. Corwin took them all in and carefully explained what their individual problems are and made a plan for their recovery. He removed a tumor from Max and gave shots to Al and Zeus. We go back for checkups in two weeks. Everyone at the clinic was great. We love their kindness and thoughtfulness. We also loved all the clinic pets. I highly recommend this hospital. Be sure you are an early riser because they are only open till 11 am or so.”

“It’s important to trust your pet is in good hands and I know we have that at Mobley clinic! We bring our lab and golden to Dr. Weaver, we are always happy for her care. Dr. Weaver is knowledgeable and very caring. Our dogs love her as well, dogs know good people. She always takes her time to hear our concerns and provides education. We have to have our lab sedated for nail trims and she gives him extra attention to help calm his nerves because she knows how stressed he is when it comes to his nails. Thanks to all the supporting staff as well. We have also boarded our dogs here and had no issues and the pricing was fair. It feels better to have them where they receive their primary care.”

“We have been taking our dogs and cats to Harpeth Valley Animal Hospital for more than twenty years for treatment and for boarding. We have always been extremely pleased with the quality of care and loving and caring attitude of the people who work here. My dogs sometimes liked for me to escort them to the kennel area when we boarded. I was always impressed by the cleanliness of the kennels. So sad that three weeks ago we had to say good by to our beloved lab of almost 11 years. She had a major trauma as an 8 month old puppy and was extremely close to losing one of her back legs. When that happened Dr. Hurst quickly put us in touch with emergency medical services and we were able to save her leg and she had many years of terrific runs in Percy and Edwin Warner Parks. In the years since, Harpeth Valley has always been there for us. When we had to bring our aging lab back in early June of 2022, Dr. Hurst and Dr. Forrester calmly and with genuine sympathy explained what was going on with her. The medical personnel and all of the staff are terrific and are compassionate. I credit so much of that to Dr. Hurst. His concern for his clients is real. He sets a great example and has managed for the last 20 years or so to hire employees with the same level of concern for the pets that he has. This is a great facility that I highly recommend without reservation.”
