Dr. Vakharia has been a tremendous help to me in my current situation. He truly is an expert in his field and has personally tended to my needs and made my life better overall. 10/10 recommend if you seek any assistance in this realm. He is kind and genuinely concerned about any issues you bring to his attention.
Choosing Dr. Vakharia as my psychiatrist has been the best decision to my mental health journey, he never made me feel like just another numbered patient but always made it very personable. Remembering what life changes I have been going through and recommending therapy based on where I am in life, while also making sure I am comfortable with the recommendations as the patient.
My son came to Dr. Vakharia a few months ago after coming home from college experiencing depression and anxiety resulting in substance abuse issues combined with mental health issues. Working through addiction while dealing with trying to determine what mental health treatments are necessary is extremely difficult. Dr. V has shown exceptional intelligence and compassion while determining why regular antidepressants had not worked over the last year. My son is now on the right track and attending university classes again. His ability to concentrate and complete work assignments has positively influenced his view of his capabilities and self esteem. He just this week was hired for a new job working towards attaining necessary career skills as he builds his portfolio. Mental health and good guidance from Dr. V and his wife have been vital to his recovery and healing that have given him a chance to live a full happy healthy life. I have been seeing Dr. Vakharia since 2007 and John Gentry since 2017. They helped me completely turn my life around in 2007 and have helped me stay on track ever since. Mrs. Vakharia and the front office staff at the Powder Springs office are very personable, helpful, and kind. I highly recommend this practice.
I have been with the practice for about 4 years and can only say good things about my experience! I used to "see" Nicole (telehealth) and now I see Jamie, both of whom are awesome! I've never had an issue with the front desk staff- they've always been polite and helpful to me. I even had my daughter switch to this practice because we were unhappy with hers!
