“I rarely leave reviews but I could not go without leaving one for this amazing place! Dr. Stewart was amazing I took my sweet girl mia to get spayed and everything went perfect and the communication was amazing. I received a text the next day asking how she was doing ( which is so thoughtful!). My dog had a little complication not being calm after her surgery and I texted the number late in the evening and I got a response so quickly and they were able to schedule me to come in the next day so they could treat mia due to her wound having some complications ( due to my dog not the vet). Amy and deb were AMAZING at making me feel comfortable and being so gentle with my sweet girl mia. The communication and service from Amy was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking. Like I said I usually don’t leave reviews but this was an amazing experience for both me and mia!”

“I initially took my big boy to Barfield because the vet I used to go to wasn’t taking walk-ins. I googled other options & this one happened to be down the street & the website stated they accept walk-ins, but I called to be sure. The receptionist, who is always pleasant, told me they did but they do their appointments first, which is completely understandable. I got him in, got him registered, and they quickly came to the waiting room for us! I was shocked at how fast we got called back! The vet tech was great & so was Dr. Barker! He came back quickly, and he was VERY thorough about my baby’s skin allergy and we talked about treatment options, costs, etc. He sent us home with our meds & Bruno’s skin got so much better while taking it! They even ran out and he set me up a free follow-up appointment to get the rest of his dosage. UPDATE: I went back today, as a walk-in again, because my boy was vomiting this morning. Today I had Dr. Fetterman. Again, VERY thorough in treatment options and what he assessed while they had him on the exam table. He gave me options of conservative treatment at home, along with other remedies. We also discussed different in-office options because I told him I was working on a budget today until I get paid later. He was able to work with me and we got sent home with medicine that have completely helped my baby’s vomiting! The only con is some things are on the pricey side, but honestly, I’m willing to pay it if it means my fur baby feels better. Thank you Barfield Animal Hospital! ♥️”

“Happy tails grooming has always been great with my aggressive shih tzu. I recently had to make an "emergency" sanitary grooming appointment this same day. The groomers set ms up at 5pm and worked him in. They were so gentle and sweet with them that he didnt even try to bite them! I would reccomend them!”

Dr. Beck is so kind and provides well thought out, understandable explanations and instructions regarding Isabelle’s care. The staff is a joy to work with and It’s clear they love what they do. “We took our Siberian Husky there today because she was having some bloody stool, but overall feeling like her normal happy energetic self! My boyfriend and I were still very concerned tho so we decided to take her here. The nurses and doctor were all VERY sweet and professional. They made sure to call me with every update (we had to stay in the car due to covid) and they ran a bunch of tests and took stool samples. They gave us her diagnosis and gave her the medication she needed and told us of other things we could give her at home that could help. They were extremely kind and helpful during this time. As a pet parent I greatly appreciate how sweet they were with our dog. The cost was 200$ but that included the check up, medication, and testing. A little pricey, but you are going to an emergency room for pets so that is to be expected. And we would have paid our last dime if we had to, to treat her. So I feel very confident in saying God forbid we have another emergency with her or our other husky we will be taking them back here.”

“I took my 2 year old dog here for her first appointment after adopting her and Savannah's Crossing is amazing! To start, the front desk staff were super sweet and energetic. Once we got into the room the vets kept that same energy. They were super kind and took care of all of her needs, including lifting her onto the scale/table since she was scared of it. Her vaccines were quick and easy, they didn't push anything that she may not necessarily need. They answered some questions and listened to my concerns, which I'm very thankful for. All in all, great service for a fair price. Thank you!”

“My cat has had medical issues since we got him in January 2020. He has been to multiple vets and most of them either didn’t help or just put him on medications that made him lethargic and unhappy. Pets R Us have been the only vet that has actually tried to find a solution that works for him without just giving medications that affect him as a cat. They also see our kitten, and they are great with her too. The staff is super friendly, willing to answer any questions thoroughly, and I really feel like my kitties are safe here.”

I have a neurotic pound pup, work full time and have two kids and briefly considered making the after hours emergency vet our primary place for convenience. I quickly realized all vets are not equal. The doctors at Commonwealth are exceptional at communicating what is wrong with your dog and the pros and cons of various treatment options. I’ve seen multiple doctors and have been impressed with all of them.”
