Yes, they are busy, but they do everything possible to get patients in and out in an efficient manner without sacrificing patient care. Dr. Ducey is patient and kind and works hard to help patients include their overall quality of life. He really listens to his patients and allows us to share in the decision-making for our own health. When we recently lost a vacation due to Southwest canceling flights, Rob went above and beyond to help us. We had the option of re-booking, which would have required extensive Covid testing per Turks’ policy, or having our vacation refunded through our travel insurance. “Hardly any wait time at all! The check-in process was very quick and very easy! The front office , nurses, and doctor that saw me were very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The office was very clean which is very important during these times right now! I will definitely come back now that I'm an established patient and look forward to seeing them again. The only thing that I would like to see changed is please merge the urgent Care with the regular St Thomas doctors offices so that they can share info and easily get medical charts so they are aware of any pre-existing medical conditions or medications that a patient is taking.”

During that entire time the staff was efficient and courteous including the CEO who called me late one evening. Case manager Kelly Dunn was available day or night. “All of you complaining about them being short staffed. Not sure if you're paying attention, but TONS of company's are SHORT STAFFED. People are not applying for jobs. The few people that do apply, more often THEY DO NOT WANT TO WORK, but they want to be paid. There is a product and service shortage across the USA. I don't work for WF and I know it's not fun when you have to wait forever, but this is our reality everywhere right now. Fast food, restaurants, banks, grocery stores. People call out left and right too. Thanks for your future understanding with all companies :) until things get better. Which who knows when that'll be.”

“I have been a patient here for years and have never had a bad experience. I often have issues with the pharmacy needing approval for prescriptions from my health insurance, (like, pretty much every few months) and the staff / Dr. Hartman and NP Gabriela Lee always get it resolved for me THAT DAY! From personal experience I know that is extremely uncommon, and should not go unrecognized. Usually with other offices that approval takes 72 hours, and when you are needing your prescription that's too long to wait. Additionally, they are quick to respond to patient needs and no one makes you feel like your call / request isn't a priority. I would highly recommend them and am extremely grateful for the service they've provided me.”

I was kept informed of everything that was going on throughout. Every person I came in contact with was concerned that I was doing ok. Dr. Baxter is an exceptional doctor. From meeting him for my diagnosis to the surgery, he was professional, honest and informative. After surgery I was on my feet and walking in a couple of days. Overall it was the best hospital experience I’ve ever had.”
