Spanish Village Park

Address: 12899 Spanish Village Dr, Bridgeton, MO 63044, USA

Park

“Beautiful little park. The playground needs cleaning. And some vandals left broken glass, I'm sure it'll be clean next time, it is a good neighborhood.”

Parkwood Park

Address: 3145 Parkwood Ln, Maryland Heights, MO 63043, USA

Park

“Playground equipment is clean and well maintained. The park has two bathrooms and a water fountain that are all in service during the summer. The street that it’s located on has a large hill and sometimes cars come speeding down it, but there’s a crosswalk nearby that has it’s own stoplight to stop traffic completely. It’s across from a church, tucked between athletic fields and an elementary school. I’ve never had any concerns about anything shady going on here.”

Dogport Dog Park

Address: 2490 McKelvey Woods Ct, Maryland Heights, MO 63043, USA

Park

“A very spacious dog park divided into two areas with fences actually tall enough to keep escape artists in. There's plenty of room for running around and playing fetch. The ground is covered in sand, so while dogs will get plenty sandy in wet weather, they will not come home muddy. For the humans there are plenty of benches with some shelter. There is a hill, a tunnel, and a slide for the dogs. Plenty of dogs come here to play, but it is usually not crowded in mid day. A reasonable yearly fee is required for access. This is my family's favorite dog park.”

Missouri Greenway: Riverwoods Trailhead

Address: 13998 St Charles Rock Rd, Bridgeton, MO 63044, USA

Park

“Love this path, although erosion is taking a huge toll on the riverside aspect. Signs posted say it's closed on the river-side, but there has been a man made off-pavement path way to maneuver through. It's a beautiful area but watch for snakes! Restrooms on-site but closed for the season as of November 7th.”

Sunset Greenway Trailhead: Sunset Park

Address: 2300 Sunset Park Dr, Florissant, MO 63031, USA

“Beautiful park with a lovely trail that leads right to the river. Watching the sunset on the river is an experience I hope everyone can see at least once, and this is the place to do it. The walk to the bottom may seem like a long one, but it is so worth it in the end. The walk itself is so calm and nice, and then the scenery and the river make it that match better.”

“Our family enjoyed a nice evening here. Being so quiet and secluded, it draws people looking for a private place to park. That could seem creepy, but we've never been bothered by anyone. The play grounds are pretty decent and the fields are wide open. Great for kites! We just wish the tennis courts were available for use.”

Saint Stanislaus Conservation Area

Address: Hazelwood, MO 63042, USA

Park

“Trail has splenty of shade, scenery, and diverse paths. Follows the river which means you may see quite a few mosquitos so spray repellent and wear long sleeves/pants. They do have some shortcuts you can take if you don't mind large inclines, but you'll be able to get to the main scenes much more quickly.”
