When I arrived they said my pizza hasn't even been started yet, despite the app saying it would be ready as I stated. Apparently there was an order for like 100 pizzas in front of me. “We loved our lunch of two appetizers from @fritanganica.stl! Maduros con queso - sweet plantains were perfectly cooked, and this fantastic hunk of cheese was crispy on the outside and smooth on the inside. Chichiarron de pollo - crispy, deep-fried little chicken drumsticks that came with an herb sauce and a tangy, spicy citrus sauce. Oh, and fried green plantains, too! They were both so good! That being said, even though there was only one other couple in the restaurant, it took about 40 minutes to get our food. Seemed kind of long to me!”

“I attended "Pancakes and Mimosas", hosted by African American artist Brock Seals, in July 2022. The art exhibit featured pieces by other black and brown local artists and creatives. I really liked the event space. It is located in East Benton Park. I could see how one could be creative in the space The spot is a renovated jail house; indeed, an interesting concept. The space still has the jail cells, which creeped me out a bit given our history in the U.S. But folx were able to sell their art out of the cells. The range of art was eclectic, the pricing fair and it appeared to be a decent turnout. I arrived at the start time but as I was leaving, the line seemed to wrap around the block. The VIP was a pleasant surprise: chamagne, OJ, a champagne flute, Cardinal memorbilia, 2 Cardinal tickets and a piece of art signed by Mr. Seals. I was also able to meet Brock in person. Nice space and overrall event.”

“Wow, wow, wow. This is a ranch lovers DREAM. We have been here a few times now when we visit St. Louis, there is always a wait—so expect that upfront. However, the Flight 13 is amazing! We have also tried some burgers and the Adult Mac and Cheese and Popper Mac and Cheese. They were all good—but honestly I would go back and just get a flight or two and eat fries with all the different types of ranch. You should give them a try!”

Even before you're out of your car its pleasant😆large open parking, lots of space between pumps, SUPER CLEAN inside and out. FRESH food being made in all day. Turkey and swiss appears basic but is PERFECT super soft bread, crisp lettuce and tomato. Small 1/2 rotisserie chicken $3.99! Juicy and seasoned. The freshest large fruit cups for .99. I HAVE to stop a couple times a week to stock up! Bathrooms immaculate, QT was always the best option but if Zoom gets more locations its over..seriously am smitten with a gas station 🥰”

“This is my go to place for breakfast. It’s affordable and delicious. The potatoes are always crispy, and the eggs are always cooked to perfection. I couldn’t recommend this place more! This is the type of food that makes you go get grandma, so she can try some too! I’d eat here everyday if my schedule allowed it. The staff is kind, and remembered us after only two visits. “We were trying to go to the Tacos and Ice cream joint down the street…which says its open til 8 on google…we arrived at about 6:45, parked, walked up and found out they were closed (luckily for us). Our disappointment turned into enthusiasm when we saw La Vallesana basically across the street. When I say I have never had street tacos so flavorful, fresh, and filling. Plus our drinks have had us laughing for hours! My kids CLEANED their plates and we got homemade Ice cream to go that we’re too full to eat. I can’t WAIT to go back!”

“This was a delightful neighborhood restaurant. The serving staff was great. Not only was our waiter warm and helpful, others came by to check on how.we we're doing. We started off with a pitcher of strawberry lemon sangria. It was dangerously delicious. They also set out little garlic rolls, which we're tasty. One person in our group adored them and ate them while waiting for our salads, which were delayed. But we were there early so the wait was nice in the nice atmosphere not the heated patio seating near a fire pit that was burning aromatic wood. My main dish and sales were tasty and nicely presented. Thid go nack. e food wasn't amazing but the atmosphere was.”
