You can experience gulf of mexico, and you can wade into the water most of any time of year. You will see lots of productive fishermen caring wild fishes. Liked this place, it has long wide beaches and not too deep water. This place is good for camping, fishing, bringing your kids.”

“The ultimate swamp trails. Bring water and snacks, the trails can go for miles round trip. Many natural plants, birds and wild life that are native to the area. Quiet with the exception of occasional jets from a nearby base. Stroller and wheelchairs navigate well in some areas. Only restrooms are at visitor center. Plan to be back in parking lots by 5pm, there are Gates with locks. Park rangers somewhat patrol the area.”

“The breakfast is very tasty. You'd think that there isn't much to a waffle, cheese grits, scrambled eggs and bacon, but bacon too soft, eggs runny and grits either runny or too lumpy I've had more often than not. This place is on point! Get there early because it gets busy. I recommend it!”

“We enjoyed this tour very much.Our guide took us out for wonderful time. He was funny and well informed. He knew where to find alligators and showed us six or seven of them in the wild. He also identified birds and trees for us and maneuvered his boat very skillfully through the bayou. He also provided dried specimens and a live baby alligator for us to experience hands on.”

“We are staying here on Thanksgiving Day 2020 on the way back to Florida. We had been on the road since September 12. They hosted the visitors who were staying for Thanksgiving dinner. They had food, drink, desert and they had movie. It’s very nice of them doing that. They stated that they do them for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas for the people who are away from the family. They are nice and friendly. We had been to many campgrounds and RV Parks cross the country from Florida to Massachusetts then to California, then back to Florida, the laundry room here is the nicest so far. They have TV there and very clean. They have a pool. Nice site and clean. Tx so much for your hospitality!Bless your hearts!”

“I had a magnolia tree that looked as if it were dying. Tiffany only needed a picture of the leaves to determine that it had insects and a disease at the same time. I eargerly went to Banting to buy the proper treatment at such an afordable cost. Wow wonderful! Tree is healthy now. 5 stars for Banting Nursery. Let's keep this jewel forever.”

“I highly recommend Hassel's RV and trailer Park for either a short camping or long stay. We stayed there for 5 months, since Dec. 2019 and just left over a week ago.. when my hubby's job finished. We had a very nice, enjoyable stay there , people are friendly and Ms. Irene (Park manager) and Mr. andy are awesome couple. They are very nice and very kind and will help you out anyway they can. She will help you set your camper out night or day and make sure you're set and comfortable. The Park is clean, got full hookup and Laundry which is a plus coz you don't have to go to a laundromat and save time and money. We will definitely stay there again in the future when my hubby got another job close by to that area.”
