“This little amusement park is the perfect size for toddlers and great age appropriate activities for littles. I would say ages 2-7 is the sweet spot for Pirate’s Cove. They everything from a merry-go-round to paddle boats, trains, bouncy house and more. If you haven’t been, do it! It’s a super fun family activity, and they have a picnic area on the pirate ship. What’s not to love?!”

“Was there for my grandson's baseball game. Asphalt paths to the fields. There are aluminum bleachers. Very well kept up. Playground is small. Didn't buy anything at concession stand. Not sure about pets. The noise from the road is annoying. Big trucks are loud. Also the paths to and from parking lot are hilly. Nice park too bad ball fields are right by the busy road.”

“The park was calm and quiet. Some guys were playing an intense game of basketball and a little kid ran into their court and the stopped the game for him. Showed such great character. Park was clean. The playground was really HOT I wish there was some shade or atleast not a black ground. They had a little water spout for the kids. I wish this was slightly bigger or had more features. “Off a busy road. In a neighborhood. There is two sizes of play ground areas. Swings for baby and children. No handicap swing. No ramps going into playground equipment. Tennis courts (two nets up) and a small Basket ball court, one hoop to shoot. There is no parking lot. Park on street. Can't park on street after 2:30pm. (2:30-6:30pm) Park is open 7am-11pm My small child (under 7yrs) Had a BLAST here. Could swing and watch cars drive through the traffic light. There is a good distance from busy road. We will definitely be coming back!”

“This is my HAPPY PLACE! I bike, kayak hang out on Sundays grilling with my husband and have celebrated many Father’s Days there. Sadly, the nature is governed and controlled by those who run the preserves. Our first tree and picnic spot they let become overrun by weeds right off the entrance at the Main Dam off Arlington Hgts Road, saying “ it’s bad for the environment to run the mowers”. Our second tree was CANCELED because they deemed the species as unhealthy for the environment to prosper and to my devastation.. chopped it down!! I was in tears! So many memories and such a beautiful serene spot with nice shade if you need it because my husband burns … OUR TREE…GONE FOREVER 😢”

“The park is situated in clean and quiet neighborhood area. Residential homes line the park on all sides. There is a walking trail with distance/mile markers along the various paths. Has a small jungle gym area for small toddler to elementary children. Swings, slides, monkey bars. There are tennis courts as well. Park has benches situated throughout so that you can have a seat every so often if you'd like. Great for walking and just sitting and enjoying nature.”
