“It is peaceful, clean & quiet. The owner & his wife are really nice people. The owner cleans the rooms himself, they don't hire outside help. It actually is nicer BECAUSE they do the cleaning . The ONLY thing you might not like is if you are a person that NEEDS that morning coffee either in your room or at the office/front desk. There is none BUT THERE ARE PLENTY OF PLACES NEARBY TO GET YOUR MORNING CUP OF JOE! I stayed there 6 months and had a very nice stay! Thank You Dan for that ! It is a cute little ma & pa place, something you would see in Wisconsin or the country. It is 1 floor high with I think 18 rooms all in a row & parking right in front of your door! GO & ENJOY. I promise you'll have a pleasant stay, TELL DAN JAYMEE SENT YOU!!!! 😬”

“Couldn’t have a better stay! Very quiet place to stay. Rooms are very clean and have plenty of kitchen items. Cleaning staff is very nice and will go out of way to make sure your room is clean. Chris at the front desk puts a smile on my face and has dealt with me booking every other couple days considering my situation and has gone above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. If you are in middle of moving or dealing with life changes I recommend mainstays for long term stays! Location is great, lots of parking, clean facilities and rooms.”

“Cleanliness is one thing I expect or I just don’t sleep well . I had an exceptional nights rest here . The mattress was literally the best I have experienced in a while, newer pillows , crisp linen and the hvac had options for constant fan low to high! The lobby is beautiful , landscaping was very nice and location was convenient to many nearby restaurant options . I will stay again !!! Thank you for the hospitality - The lady that checked me in was exceptional as well by the way - truly made me feel welcomed !”

“higher rating because for the price this was exactly worth it. pros: no bugs, good security (good for the few female entrepreneurs), clean shower, close to where we needed to be (douglass park). cons: carpet was disgusting, like wet and dirty. so maybe get a room without carpet! overall the room was just kind of smelly and musty. also there was a strip eyelash in the bed under the covers. but like for the price I can’t complain!!”

This is an experience from the moment you cross the front door, where this beautiful, elegant and well spoken ladies are greeting you, to the softness of the hands of my hair stylist, when she was doing my coloring highlights one by one with such cared. She took all the time to make a beautiful work of art with my highlights. They look so natural and blend with my greys you can’t tell. Then there’s Gigi who washes your hair like if she was caressing your scalp. To close the experience I went upstairs to this beautiful young lady hair stylist and show her a picture and told her maybe..” this will look good on me..”? She graciously agreed with a smile and then the magic….Eduard Scissors hands was a joke compare to her. She gave me a complete fresh new look and I loved it!! In conclusion I went in feeling old and outdated. Still reminiscing my old spa… I came out relax, happy, completely changed and feeling beautiful. Teddie Kossof Salon Spa is not only a hair Salon and spa is an experience.! From now on this is my place to go! For all my spas! “We stayed here this past weekend and let me tell you this place may be a "2 star" hotel but it does not look or feel like 2 stars! First off Sasha is amazing!! She was so nice and accommodating and really went above and beyond! The lobby is beautiful and the rooms were clean and stocked with lots of extras. Loved the makeup removing wipes in the bathroom 😊 The breakfast was so good and there were a ton of options! Would definitely recommend this hotel! Thanks again Sasha!!”

“The place was fine, I like the neighborhood and Portillos is in walking distance. Enough parking space around the hotel. For those who haven't stayed in a Homewood like me, it's more like renting an apartment. Breakfast was fine, attentive service, they kept everything clean and plenty for all the guests. Front desk was helpful and friendly as well. The pool was fun a little cold but later in the day it warmed up. The room was fine, small kitchen and living room with a decent bathroom, everything seems clean. Beds were ok. Try asking for the 3rd floor or ask if there is no one above you, I must say it wasn't fun listening to people walking while trying to sleep. The place is not new by any means, but it is in good condition and has enough staff members to keep the place up and running. Next summer I will probably stay here again.”
