“First time visiting this sushi/ramen spot. Please be advised it is small, and there are only 2 tables for dine-in so plan accordingly. Sushi was DELICIOUS and the Kimchi fried rice came out hot and delish as well. I ordered the spider roll and tempura roll which did not disappoint. I also ordered the Pork Gyoza which came out hot and fresh as well. Lastly, I ordered the Jasmin Milk Boba tea which was perfect. Not too sweet but just right. Highly recommend this spot. They also do take-out!”

“Well I think we found our new pizza place after our local one closed! They put copious amounts of cheese on these pizzas, their garlic is fresh chopped and they're pepperoni and sausage are divine. We've been ordering the thin crust 16 inch for the two of us and it's more than enough for that day as well as another meal. Can't wait to try their fries that are hand cut because when I go in and see them they look unbelievable. Have had pizza twice in a week and it's a total local gem and very recommended.”

“I work very late, so this is the only place open when I get off work. I am not being negative or complaining one bit, but I will say that the female fry cook in the kitchen gave me the best meal that I’ve had from there to date. The fresh cut french fries were actually fresh and not overloaded in salt, the hot dog looked like it was from a commercial and wasn’t overloaded in toppings! I’ve never had a bad experience, but sometimes the food hasn’t been that great, just because it’s not fresh. I wanted to let management know, the female cook in the kitchen, needs a full-time position and a raise. Everything was phenomenal, and even the chicken rice soup sometimes is hit or miss, and tonight it was phenomenal. Always friendly staff and delivery people, highly recommend the ribs, chicken, and fries. Thank you guys very much for being the only place since Covid that cares about people who work late. You guys will always have my support and gratitude.”

“Walked into this amazing local joint by blind luck. Never even having Filipino food before. Chris the owner is super nice and walked us through the menus and made some recommendations. OMG is the food yummy. If you live in the area, you should really make a point of visiting. We had the sampler platter that has pork belly, mini egg rolls, fish, rice and noodles. All great.”

“Went to have some drinks and enjoy the atmosphere. This place is one of the best tiki bars I've visited in Illinois! Lots of great artifacts which really gives the place character. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The drinks were superb! Really enjoyed the presentation of each drink, and they tasted wonderful! Definitely returning to try more items on the menu.”

“After seeing Big Agnes on Chicago's Best my boyfriend and I decided to go try their food. Immediately when we arrived we were greeted, they talked with us about the menu and honestly the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We had the pulled pork with slaw sandwich which was juicy and delicious. We loved the large portion of home fries too. I read online about Big Agnes special macaroni and cheese . It was worth every delicious calorie ! One word ... YUMMY ! We look forward to returning to try the prime rib and tri-tip next !”

The thing that makes Jimmy D's unique (unlike your typical corner bar) is that this place is top notch. Bonnie runs tight bar - the place is impeccably clean and the service is spot on. “I love this chain, this location!! I've been coming here off and on for nearly 20 years and I love it as much as I did the very first time I stepped in the door!! For the uninitiated there is something special about the moment you step foot in the door of an Oberweis store! You smell the waffle cones and the various ice cream flavors, it is beyond intoxicating!! I have always enjoyed a few staple items like a Strawberry Malt or a Hot Fudge Sundae and as you sit down and enjoy it with your family the smells overwhelm you with the desire to take more home with you, which I always do!! The Blueberry Pie ice cream is awesome!!!! I recommend this place as highly as possible!!! I love Oberweis!!!!”
