“We were there two days ago and it was rainy so hard that the traffic was so bad. The time we scheduled was supposed to be leaving at 5pm. When we arrived, Julian arranged the appropriate horses (we all know it was a bad weather and horses can be not feeling like to work some days). She was very patient and taught us how to control the horses before we leave. It was interesting to know each horse has different personalities and they could be “like middle schools” to take care of. We were not expecting to have the whole riding trail anyways as we arrived later than expected, but Julian brought us to the seaside to take photos before it got dark. And we did finish the whole trip. I love the way how the whole team was flexible enough to take us to the whole trip and work closely to make it work for us. Definitely a yes, I’d come back again. 🤗”

“This place has to be one of my favorite places to come on island. The food is amazing and so are there smoothies. They have lots of dairy alternatives which is really great. All the food is so fresh and delicious. The Furikake Ahi and the BBQ Chicken plate are my absolute favorites. Also the waffle at breakfast is amazing!”

“The Route 99 Container store in Kahuku on Oahu's North Shore is literally the most amazing place! There are so many beautiful embroidered hats, shirts, tank tops, sweatshirts for sale at good prices along with crafts, paintings from local artists, and many unique vendor pieces that you can easily find that special Hawaii gift for you and your friends and family. The owners are friendly and helpful plus the customer service is top notch. Take your photo in front of the beautiful rainbow turtle mural and with the colorful blocks that spell out Aloha! I am proud to be one of the artists that they show in the shop and hope you will stop by to visit. Make sure to add it to your must see places.”

“This was such a cool little place! We were on our way back driving from The Dole Plantation (aka tourist trap) and stumbled upon a sign leading to this store. As we were looking around, Reba approached us and asked if we wanted a tour of the coffee and chocolate estate. We saw staff sorting beans and washing beans, the holding containers, press containers, etc. Not knowing what we were going to see, it was very authentic and Reba told us everything there is to know of the coffee and chocolate process and history. This was the real deal. We were even offered various samples of coffees and chocolate! This is definitely a must see! Reba even recommended a few local places to see and eat and they were delicious! I'm so glad we stopped. You will find lots of souvenirs, coffee, chocolate, novelty items and more. There are also other locally owned and operated shops in that same area. They do have shaved ice here and I hear it is the best around. We didn't have any only because we had coffee and chocolate samples from our tour. Shop local!”

“Absolutely the place to stop!! We ended up with a screw in our rental car tire and stopped in without calling. Although we were not local- they treated my family and I with kindess and helped us repair the tire with a smile. “The hike in from the north side was absolutely beautiful. The service road path is a bit rough and can be muddy at times but seems to be a bit shorter than the beach path. The beach path takes you along the coastline and ocean front and is stunningly beautiful. Try looking back towards the north shore for beautiful views of the north shore coast. Stunning!! And the view from the pill box at the point is also stunning, with 360% views of the Waianae mountains and coastline and the mountains along the north side path and the ocean. It doesn't get any better than that! It's like being in another world, so unlike the rest of Oahu with it's urban areas, noise, cars, etc. 100% recommended for those who can easily hike the 5+ miles round trip safely.”

“Had a great time at Brothers Paintball! Best woods ball field on Oahu! Friendly staff and refs, games were fun and really enjoyed the experience. Granted things are a little more expensive in Hawaii, we understood we weren't gonna get mainland paintball prices but it was reasonable for being in the middle of the Pacific. Well worth it! Thanks!”

“Most "surf" shops in Hawaii are selling t-shirts and logoed schwag to look at while you eat your shave ice . . . The staff won't know much about surfing. They might have a few boards on a rack but good luck. This place is the opposite of that. THIS IS A SURFBOARD SHOP. They make and sell surfboards right there. I have a few Schaper boards but had never been to the shop. It exceeded my expectations. The staff and Carl take their time and know every detail of every board. Absolute pros.”

“Cute thrift and vintage store on the second floor of this Waialua retail center. Great clothing finds for women, cool home decor, cute jewelry, even vinyl records! Limited parking available in the lot that it shares with a popular bakery and general store next door, but you can always park across the street. Prices are reasonable and the inventory is varied. I’ll have to make another trip up soon, just for this place.”

“My 10 yr old daughter bought a necklace from a lovely lady when we were in Hawaii and she absolutely adored it. She loved hearing about how her daughter helped her collect the shells in the early morning and how they handcrafted their beautiful jewelry. She wore her necklace everyday and told everyone about it. One morning while helping make breakfast it fell off of her neck and the little bottle full of shells shattered on the floor. She was devastated. Fortunately we were able to pick up the shells and she had kept Beachwalk Gallery’s business card. She reached out and they kindly agreed to fix it for her. It arrived in the mail today and my daughter is thrilled. Thank you so much for the great memory, a beautiful necklace, and for fixing it for her. Great customer service!!!”

“My sister and I went to Honolulu Soaring Club earlier this month and it was the best experience! The pilot, Michael, was great and very good at giving us amateur pilot instructions (we did the “hands-on” flight). Not only was the flight amazing, a week later Mr. Bill followed through on a promise to me. We mentioned that he reminded us so much of our granddad. Before we left, he had asked me for my address to send me something and actually followed through! I received it today and it completely made my day. It was so touching and sweet. Thank you so much! It was an unforgettable experience. You won’t regret flying with these wonderful guys! Highly recommend!!!”
