Dillingham Air Field (HDH)

This parking area is used for Paradise Air Hawaii and the Kealia trail.

The beach across the street from Dillingham Air Field is quite and not very crowded. It is a great place to find sea-glass. It has a steep sand beach that quickly turns to smooth rock. Good swimmers with snorkel gear find this beach great for seeing turtles. Small children should be watch closely due to the slippery rock just beyond the sand and the variance in wave sets.

An awesome place to watch skydivers drop, swoop around, and land + gliders and tow planes even if you’re not going up yourself.

This is sort of a secret spot. It doesn't get as many visitors as the more popular tourist attractions, but this is the place to go if you want some more adventure. Glider tours, skydiving, access to popular hiking trails and beautiful beaches right across the street.
