“We decided to have an unplanned breakfast here on a Sunday morning, so the wait was a little over 30 minutes - but we were not disappointed. Service was friendly - both by hostesses and waitstaff. Food came out pretty timely. We had the brioche French toast with anglaise sauce and berries and a full order or biscuits and gravy split into two. Biscuits and gravy: right at the first bite we were convinced we made a great choice. Biscuits were a bit crunchy and not just soggied up by the gravy. Gravy had the right consistency and sausage was not over powering. Not too salty or with a runny or cement-like gravy. Perfect flavors! Brioche French toast: you can definitely taste the brioche flavor on the bread and it was perfectly fry toasted with a delicious vanilla sauce - again, not overpowering and with a great balance of flavors. Price/value: we walked out completely satisfied for under $30 before tip (2 people). This place has immediately become one of our favorite breakfast spots and we’ll be back soon!”

“Taco Del Mar is actually a pretty nice franchise, I didn't know that they were. I Googled where to get Spanish food randomly because places were closed. But it happens to be inside the Chevron gas station. I can tell you that the food is fantastic and the portions are that of Chipotle size and you can always request more rice more chicken more beef more whatever you want, I got a chicken bowl, I really like my chicken bowls. Definitely a place to go if you want to grab something quick and fresh and taste good and is priced right. Especially in this area we don't have a Chipotle that's very close so if you want something that's open later than 8:00 I would suggest that or wawa.”

“Visited around 4:30pm on a Wednesday. Not very crowded. Seated quickly and the wait staff was quickly at our table with drinks, chips and salsa. The salsa was mild but good texture for dipping. The ambiance is really good with low light and warm colors. Music was not too loud. Ordered the Mexican street tacos ($21) to dine in and a to-go order of pork chilli Verde, rice and beans ($22). The tacos had a decent amount of pork, onions and cilantro. The double corn tortillas were excellent. Rice and beans were spot on. It came with a delicious roasted huge jalapeno pepper which I would take bites of with the taco. Will be back. Atmosphere was great but got seated next to kitchen entrance so is why I dropped a few points for.”

“This restaurant is inside the lobby area of the Hotel Indigo. I'm not sure of all the hours, but this is a Friday night and they are closing at 9pm, not 11p as Google states. I had the Flounder Alfredo Florentine and it was delightful. Enough sauce to use on the veggies but not so much it was drowning. Perfect amount for me. Potatoes were tender and tasty. The service was better than the food. I sat in the corner to get work done. She was not overbearing, but she did check in me and refilled my water as needed, which was appreciated. I was staying at the hotel and ate there out of convenience but was pleasantly surprised!”

“We stumbled across this little gem of a restaurant while visiting Sarasota. I’m from Houston. Texas so it’s difficult to impress me with food. We have some of the best eclectic as well as fine dining restaurants. Fork & Hen is on par for sure. We tried the Blue Plate fried chicken, chicken & waffles, the falafel appetizers & iced tea.. Everything was amazing. All the food and sauces are from scratch & you can taste it! I love the added touch of the homemade pickles to these dishes. Can’t wait to come back & try something else when I’ll be there in October.”

“We went there for the first time. Nice Cafe. It is hard to find if you do not know where it is. You have to know their location. The smell there is wiered. But you can use it fast. The food is good. Portion is small -europian size. Coffee is Amazing good. Crapes are very bad. I am from Europe too, I know how to make crapes. Sandwich was great. Lots of meet and good sauce. The potato salad is the Best in Venice! Waitress is very nice girl. Love her. I put 4 stars because they added 20% ! Tips automatically! Hmm..why is it? 15-18% tips is good,since all food coast went up,they already have a big increase in their wages. Why would I pay 20% of tips for 2 people? If I had 8 people, lots of work etc..I understand 20%, but for 2 people... no. I think I will not go back. I am not rich enough to pay 20%. I am a cook and I do not get any tips at work. It's so sad that greed is everywhere. I guess you prefer to take 20% tips once,than to have 15-18% every week. Thank you. Good luck.”

BIG shoutout to Dawn G for the best experience in Wellen Park. From start to finish she was polite, interactive, friendly, made sure my Family and I were well taken care of. She knew the right meals to recommend after a long event took place. She listened to all of us and We couldn’t ask for a better waitress. She is Veteran and children friendly which is awesome. Food was incredible and everyone else was very nice and welcoming. All of our drinks were always topped off and for this my guest and I would definitely without a doubt be eating here again. I’m recommending everyone I know to eat here. This place is by far one of the best restaurants the area has to offer. It’s worth the travel. “I’m so glad I took my girl here on our first date. The place doesn’t look like much but it is a clean and comfortable atmosphere, and the sushi was the best we’ve ever had! Lily was our server and she is super sweet. We ordered maki combo b, passion roll, Sakura roll, and lava roll and they were all a perfect balance of simple and more complex flavors. I was expecting them to all come out separately but they surprised us with this beautiful plate! I was so impressed and appreciative that red plum went above and beyond to give us an amazing night! “This is a cute little bistro with good food. We ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp for the appetizer, a popular dish here in Florida. It wasn't the best version of it that I've had but it was pretty good. For my meal, I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan Sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was balanced with the right amount of sauce and cheese and the fries were crispy and crunchy which, is not easy with sweet potatoes. My friend had the Reuben and she said it was one the best she's had. The server, Rachel was personable and attentive. The atmosphere is cute and quaint and a perfect little lunch spot.”

“I stopped by a few weeks ago with a friend and we ordered fish ceviche and it was delicious! I'm very hesitant to eat raw fish like sushi (sashimi) and even though ceviche is not raw I'm still hesitant because in my Greek culture we eat everything well done lol. The ceviche was so fresh and the "leche de tigre" was so flavorful and I wasn't even slightly concerned. The lady who served us was also very sweet and gracious and the atmosphere is very beautiful. “The name was honestly what finally drew us in, after countless times of seeing the sign while driving by. We enjoyed the service that Kelly provided us quite a lot, and she told us a bit about the history of the restaurant. Everything we ordered was super tasty, which was the hungry man pizza, chicken marsala, and tiramisu. A nice side detail I really like is how they have plants lining the entire fence and walkway leading up to the entrance. Will be coming back for that tiramisu again for sure.”
