Turtles Restaurant

I really enjoyed this place with my fiancée! It has a beautiful outdoor seating area that overlooks the water. The food is delicious! I recommend the fish and chips with extra tartar sauce! Also, make sure to get a side of their garlic potatoes. They are yummy! Portion sizes are very large!

We went to Brunch at Turtles restaurant on Turtle Bay. Their brunch is about $12.99 a person. I got the Avocado Toast. The avocado was fresh avocado smashed and sliced up on top of multi grain bread. I felt like they could have added some seasonings to the smashed part of the avocado. It came with veggies and home fries. I really liked the home fries and the veggies were good too. Overall a pretty healthy breakfast. My mother said her corned beef hash was dry/overcooked. My husband liked his breakfast.

Food is always good and tasty. Ordered mashed potatoes works have been nice to know that they weren't plain. Not sure what all was in them. They were ok could have been warmer. Fish and veggies were excellent.

As far as American seafood restaurants go, this was decent but not outstanding. I would say if you are already in the area, it’s a good place to eat with a nice atmosphere. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here though. Shrimp and scallop napoli had a very good creamy sauce, but the sandwiches were less impressive. Buns were not well toasted, grouper was rubbery. Pretty standard American seafood place, if that is what you’re looking for!

This was our first time visiting this area and we chose this restaurant based on the reviews. So glad we did. The food was delicious. Beautiful views and friendly staff. Reasonable prices. I ordered the shrimp scampi and hubby ordered the jambalaya.
