“I've been driving by this restaurant for over a year meaning to stop in. I finally made the time to do so yesterday and was quite pleased. It's the type of restaurant you'd expect to find in small local town with the owner greeting you and asking what he can get for you. Not much to look at, but like I said it's a local place like you might find in a Mexican village. Good food! I told him I needed to get something to eat and drink. The menu was hand written and without my glasses hard to read so he went through the menu until I stopped him at burritos. Make this short, I think his mother was cooking and she made me a wonderful beef, bean, rice burrito that you only get from a traditional Mexican mother that's doing the cooking.”

“Green Door offers great service! They offer delicious food. 😋 This place is supposed to be haunted. 👻 👽 The servers are very friendly and will tell you all about it. They offer outdoor dining, too. The ambiance is cozy. We love the headboards attached to the walls. The music is soft and delightful. Our food was cooked fast and was made with high-quality ingredients. This restaurant is a bit pricey for lunnch but we did enjoy our meals.”

“My boyfriend has celiacs and we’ve been looking for a quality gluten free bakery that ACTUALLY tastes good. We don’t have to look further. It was our first time in this store and the owners were so informative, friendly, and mindful as they both can’t have gluten. We got the cinnamon roll, Mississippi brownie, peanut butter cup brownie, and carrot cake - ALL are amazing. We can’t wait to try everything in this store. The owners have amazing plans for their store 💜”

“I was surprised by the number of options available -- if you ask, they offer two types of grilled fish and grilled shrimp as options, in addition to the usual fried menu. Friends requested this for lunch, and I anticipated a limited menu, from which I'd not be able to order. I got the grilled shrimp with steamed broccoli, and was amazed by how flavorful and good the food was!”

“We’ve dined at the location in Plant City many times over the years and thought we’d give this one a try on our way home from a Jeep ride. It was a good call. We had our usual which is a Greek Salad, potato salad and a turkey grinder. Our Granddaughter had the small cheese pizza. Everything was very good and the grinder was actually better than the one we normally get. It included onions and peppers which the PC location doesn’t add. Our service was awesome as well. Definitely will be back.”

“I feel bad. We went here during an event my wife had for work months ago and im just now posting about it. I was craving some good authentic Mexican food and man did I get it!! It's a small place that looks like an old gas station without the gas but all the drinks next to a small home diner with a few booths and tables with a small TV to watch. Don't let what I just said throw you off because the food...oh my goodness was the best I had in years. 1st, I had 2 Carne Tacos and the meat was so well seasoned not dry plus they had both the green and red sauces that I love. Now, Caution: I love hot sauce and can handle it for the most part but this sauce...this sauce!? I dabbed my fork in it just the tip of the fork and it was enough to heat up both Tacos. My wife does not like Tamales but that evening we went to the hotel with leftovers so think about that. The meat again was well seasoned and not dry. The young lady there who took my order although my Spanish wasn't great and her English wasn't either we had a great time trying. She was so sweet we told her we would be back the next day. Unfortunately we weren't able to make it back and for that I regret it because now that I typing it I miss it so much. What does this mean, don't judge a book by its cover and try to dive into the content of it because we enjoy it.”

“This place is a jewel! The epitome of what I look for when I'm traveling around Florida working. I saw their sign and I just had to stop in. It was Friday, and on Fridays they seem to have some fish specials. I had the haddock and it was cooked perfectly, it's been a long time since I really enjoyed fish! Everything that I saw served to the other guests looked phenomenal! If my belly was big enough I would have tried it all ;-) You definitely have to stop by and see this one if you're in the area. Be prepared though, it's very cozy and the people are very friendly! Being a stranger, a traveler, it's refreshing to be treated like I was one of their regulars.”

“It took a while to finally place my order as also get the soda of choice to load up to the flavor I want (Same issue with the Kathleen/Griffin Wendy's fountain machine in Lakeland) but that Chicken BLT (without lettuce & tomatoes) was DELICIOUS. I almost left to go to Taco Bell for their $5 box but I'm glad I waited for Wendy's $5 combo deal. That chicken sandwich was worth the wait. Oddly I cant remember the last time I had a chicken sandwich that had that flavor and was very delicious.”
