“I was very impressed with the owner and what he did for me. I had already been to two other jewelry places here in Turlock and had been very disappointed in what they said. I had two pieces of jewelry that I asked about repairs, and I was hoping to get it done before leaving on a cruise at the end of the next week, so about 7-8 days. The quotes I got were astounding! The claimed work that would be needed, parts to replace and order, time needed was going to be at least a month to get finished and cost more than $760! I went to Mr. Martinez and I'm so happy I did. He looked at both pieces of jewelry, a set of diamond earrings and a necklace with a loose stone. After examination, he said he could have both repairs done by Tuesday of the next week, AND, the cost was only $43.00!!! I was astounded and relieved that he could do this. Then came the biggest surprise of all!! Suddenly he said, if you have a few minutes to wait, I'll do it all for you right now. I spent approximately 30 minutes in his shop and am very happy with the quality and care of my jewelry. Needles to say, I know that what he did for me is not the usual, but I so appreciate his thoughtfulness. I told him to bump the payment to $50. It was well deserved!! I'll definitely be returning to him for other repairs that are needed.”

The pump #5 wouldn’t take my credit card and directed me to go inside to pay where I was told I had to give a specific dollar amount. I asked if I didn’t use it all, (it wasn’t my vehicle), would the actual amount be deducted or would I have to come back in. The gentleman behind the counter had a very heavy accent and I have some hearing loss... and there were a lot of people talking around me. I asked three times to be sure before leaving thinking I didn’t have to come back in. Stressed, I didn’t look at the amount on the pump or get a receipt... and then I see the entire sixty withdrawn from my account. I guess I was just surprised that little car took that much... I phoned Arco and left a message about this still thinking I was overcharged. I just spoke with my friend with me, the owner of the car, and she did say it stopped pumping at sixty. Anyway, I do apologize...”
