“Excellent cliff-side Pacifica Taqueria with a neighborhood vibe. No frills establishment with excellent food, quick service, and everything you'd expect from a Bay Area Taqueria. Excellent Mexican food all around. They have beer, plenty of tacos, Mexican dishes, Carne Asada, and other delicious items. We especially loved how the carne asada tacos and the Al Pastor was charred to perfection with the perfect blend of taste and carbon flavor from the grill. They have self serve free chips as well! (No hard liquor or cocktails though, fyi!). Also, they have plenty of indoor seating as well as patio outdoor seating in the back with plenty of room and fresh air. They have a restroom. This place is easy to miss but it's perfectly located right on the main byway heading to San Francisco or down to Pacifica. We chose to come here after doing some hiking in Pacifica (Mori Point). This was the perfect idea to hit the spot after a tough morning on the trails. One of the better Taquerias in the area, especially if you're hungry and don't want to travel far. Recommended for convenience, taste, quick service, and good Taqueria Quality food.”

Would love to try more items in the future. They also had a cool DIY hand sanitizer contraption that they made themselves — you step on the pedal and it squirts hand sanitizer at the top in a hands-free manner. Amazing!”

“JoAnns is the place to go for good food. I had a Mushroom Burger with fries. This small hole in the wall closes at 2pm. Then they reopen from 6pm-9pm with a Mexican menu. Parking is a little tough but be patient JoAnns will be worth it. There is inside or outside seating & wheelchair accessible. The service is good, food is excellent. There are also daily specials on a Chalk board inside. There are also fresh bakes muffins. This is a must try one time restaurant.”

“One of our most revisited Vietnamese restaurant in San Mateo - Foster City. Staff if friendly and fast. When there are so many customers and they deliver my dishes slow, they apologized for making me wait. The ones serving us are usually middle aged uncles and aunties, so we never took it personal. The food is great. Pho tastes the most authentic compared to other restaurants in the area. Bun bo Hue lacks flavors, but the Grilled shrimps and pork chops over vermicelli is to die for. My favorite dish! Their Vietnamese coffee is also very authentic and popular. Every time we’re there, I could see one cup of coffee on most of the tables.”

“1st visit: - The staff is friendly and nice, but the food is just so-so. We came for lunch, so we ordered rice and noodles. The braised duck wonton noodles soup is just so plain. They left the braised duck on a side dish, it was quite oily, so you had to eat them with the noodles, and much soy sauce for some flavors. I ordered a combo, fried rice with rolls and sweet and sour pork, and instantly regretted because I underestimated the amount of food. The pork fried rice is good, but the rest of the combo is disappointing. We also ordered mapo tofu because we really loved that dish, but their mapo tofu lacked spiciness. All we could tasted is sweet. That’s not mapo tofu at all. 2nd visit: - This time we stayed away from noodle soups and ordered dishes that can go with steam rice. The kung pao chicken is really good. It has the smell of what a Cantonese would call, the taste of the wok, “wok hee”. The honey walnut prawn is a bit sweet, but the spicy & sour soup nails it. Just the right amount of spiciness and sourness. => I would say it’s a decent Hong Kong restaurant. I’d love to try other dishes, but not the noodle soups.”
