(February 15, 2019, 7:26 pm)Tons of stairs with a clear trail. Boulders surround you has you go higher and higher. We went on a rainy day so getting up was like being in the clouds. It got cold up there too. Totally walking distance is about 8 miles. Pack accordingly. Very beautiful.
(February 11, 2019, 6:50 am)Busy hike but worth the view from the top. We went up the road which is steep and then had a nice leisurely downhill to the park and had shuttle a car. Love the hippo Rock
(February 7, 2019, 8:05 pm)I love the tree and rocks just beyond the halfway point. You can see the ocean, la Jolla, all of poway of course.
(January 21, 2019, 3:40 pm)Great hike. about 3 hours round trip. Nearly all uphill there. Lots of great views, you can see the ocean too.
