“Exercise caution if you decide to get a smog test here. In my case, my vehicle battery was recently changed which faulted the instrument this smog station used to measure the smog reading from the vehicle. However, the attendant was going to charge me for the test anyway since he said the test failed-- but it had nothing to do with the smog or the vehicle, the instrument was faulty and never generated a smog reading. I think he felt guilty about it, so he eventually threw me off the premises angrily without charging me, which worked just fine for me. I went to a second smog test place immediately afterwards and they let me know up front that there was an instrumentation issue onboard my vehicle that necessitated driving 100 miles on the new battery in order to bring a catalytic converter setting online. Without the cat converter setting, the test would fail automatically, or more specifically be "incomplete". The second smog vendor offered to work with me to get the setting back online. I'll just stick with that guy instead-- Kwik Smog at corner of El Camino Real and CA-78. Good luck!”

The prices are absolutely reasonable for the work that you get in return. I had a couple nasty scratches around my car and after the servicing, it looks brand new. I am absolutely ecstatic. Originally the wait was supposed to be about two hours, but they finished it in 1.5 hours! The people who did the servicing and literal magicians and I can't thank them enough for their hard work. “I came in and they gave me an Out The Door quote on the cars I wanted within 15 minutes. With only 5 or so numbers in it. If you have bought a car at a new dealer recently that is the best review you can hear. almost everywhere else they wanted to run my credit, talk about payments and extras! Here they gave me a price!!! It wasn’t the final price, maybe I could have done better elsewhere with time but it was a real number with no confusion! THEY DID NOT WASTE MY TIME! When we settled on a price and I came back and bought the car I wanted it was 30$ cheaper than quoted. That’s not much for a car I know but when does anyone ever come in under quote? Fred, Ian and Rich all helped me over the weekend I took to make up my mind! They ALL knew more about the cars than me and that was not true at most other dealers I visited. Most other cars I mentioned I’d driven that day they did not have horrible things to say. That shows confidence in THEY’RE product. I had a bad experience with a woman named Day, at Big O Tire, in Carlsbad, earlier that morning. Day quoted me $40-$100 max for the service I needed, then told me it was $180 once my car was apart. She never forewarned me there would be a $30 charge regardless. When I argued the $30 charge, she threatened to report me for non-payment. When I asked to whom, she said, “You’ll have to find out.” This is after I had just spent roughly $500 on parts and labor with them just the week before. Day was rude and miserable. Luckily the owner was cool and told me I could just go. So glad I went to Carlsbad Collision Center. Turned my day around.”
