Old Post Office Cafe

Address: 5245 N Lake Blvd, Carnelian Bay, CA 96140, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“This morning I met some friends for a quick bite before heading back to Reno to work. The server was quick to get me a menu and promptly took my order. Because I was in somewhat of a rush, I ordered a 1/2 order of Biscuits and Gravy. It was the perfect size and amount and not too much like biscuits and gravy can tend to be. Even though it was smothered in gravy, the biscuit was really good and had that homemade taste. The gravy was good and that of the usual gravy taste, but nothing to super rave about. It was nice to sit at the bar in the sun room and be able to watch cars pass by and people walking. As I left, I saw what looked to be a patio area with tables and a makeshift stage. I'm interested if they have live music and plan to call and find out.”

Reds' Bistro

Address: 3645 Taylor Rd, Loomis, CA 95650, USA

Restaurant

“Red's was great! Nice location on the corner. Plenty of great views of downtown Loomis, and people watching to do while seated. Reservations are recommended, but we were seated quickly as a walk-in around 7:00 p.m. on a Monday evening. Great atmosphere inside, and the food did not disappoint. Everything was delicious from start to finish. I'd recommend coming here with enough time to take a walk downtown after dinner. It is a beautiful small town to explore.”

Arigato Sushi

“First time trying today and we'll definitely go back. The service was amazing, the people are so nice and friendly. We got the fried gyoza and chicken yaki tori appetizers. Both were yummy and the perfect size. Then we got three rolls to share which was even more delicious and extremely well priced. I highly suggest this location to anyone looking for a wide variety of food and rolls. It was also super quick for lunch, we were in and out in 35 minutes, but they didn't rush us.”

“It has been a long time since I enjoyed a meal as thoroughly as I did at this place. We ordered lots of food to try and every single thing was delicious, well made, well seasoned, very fresh. The people that work here are extremely kind and waited on us way beyond expectation. THE FOOOOOOD. Omg. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The pork was perfectly cooked. The noodle salad has amazing flavor. Keep in mind all of these things I don't usually like or eat. I was so impressed.”

Zest Kitchen

“It’s difficult sometimes to find delicious vegan restaurants while traveling, Zest did not disappoint! They are known for their “Loin Burger” (I believe that’s what it was called) and I can see why!! So yummy and filling, my toddler enjoyed her “nuggets” and fresh lemonade. If you are a local or a guest in the area, I highly recommend trying them out! You won’t regret it 😉 🌿🌱🥦🥗🥒🍏🥑”

“This is one of the nicer Starbucks that I've been to. Fairly large, seems to have a good number of tables, they were about half full when I visited. The baristas were welcoming and friendly. The restroom was clean both times I was there. And the coffee was ready quickly and fixed just the way I like it, though I'm not terribly picky about my coffee and I don't have special requests.”

Kobe Teppanyaki & Sushi

Yes, you sit at a big table with possibly strangers but the whole environment invites fun and entertainment! It is definitely American Japanese, but so yummy!”

Cedar House Pub

Address: 725 Granlibakken Rd, Tahoe City, CA 96145, USA

Restaurant

“Cute venue tucked within a lodge, this pub threw us off a bit by only offering outdoor seating. Still, our servers accommodated our party w extra heat lamps since some of us weren’t dressed to eat entirely Al fresco. Nevertheless our party decided to tough it out and proceeded w ordering our dinner. For drinks we got a few martinis that were all prepared expertly. A little surprising given the pop up vibe the entire place gives. Then we proceeded w the grilled cactus appetizer. It was a little hard to comprehend the description even after asking our waitress, turns it comes as a 3 piece unit or like a poke bowl. We had it poke bowl style and was VERY delicious. Then our food came, which was a build-your-salad, steak plate, steak sandwich, and lobster roll. Our waitress was excellent by repeating our order to us, which was brilliant since we had ordered a rather complex salad. Everything came together, presented beautifully, cooked wonderfully. The only pause was that our steak was more medium well then medium. Not too much of a big deal since it was getting a bit darker and grilling outside gets tougher w less light. Aside from that, our meal was excellent. Def a place worth many repeat visits.”

Thunder Cafe

Restaurant

“My Eggs Benedict were by far the VERY BEST THAT I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Fresh, perfectly balanced, yummy hollandaise sauce, buttered muffin, and plated beautifully! I will be back VERY SOON 😋”

Pep's Place

Address: 6883 N Lake Blvd, Tahoe Vista, CA 96148, USA

Restaurant

“Waking up early in the beautiful Sierra is always a pleasure! And knowing a cute mom and pops Cafe is nearby had me excited! Me and one other friend (who visited this place by himself the day before...jerk!) Decided to catch some sun and get our Joe going! Walking in we were immediately greeted with friendly faces! They handed us a menu and I was torn between so many options! I was hungry but I didn't want to eat to much. On a side note I ordered a Latte to get things started! Boy, I don't know, I had a rough and fun night prior playing the most vicious game of Monopoly until 3 in the morning so maybe that's why this Latte smacked so hard! This Latte rejuvenated me, like every sip brought me to life! I decided to go a healthier route with food finally, not because I care about healthy but because I actually like most healthy foods naturally so I ordered a Acai Bowel. It was just the right amount of everything I needed, the bananas were freshly cut, the oats were crunchy and the yogurt wasn't too thick. Infact, my only draw was the yogurt eventually monopolized the whole thing... see how I brought that full circle?! But that's my fault since I walked back to our cabin to eat it instead of lounging about. One cool lil fact I feel needs to be mentioned is this program they got going... so they have a recycling thing where if you bring your own cup you can refill on house brew coffee for a dollar! Thats a pretty rad return folks! I loved it... I didn't take advantage of it but I will when I come back!”

Flower Farm Cafe

Address: 9280 Horseshoe Bar Rd, Loomis, CA 95650, USA

Cafe Restaurant Store

“A charming brunch and Cafe that closes around 3. It feels quite quaint but very cute atmosphere. There's plenty of outdoor seating and covered outdoor seating as well. I would recommend the fresh squeezed orange juice, $6. The $11 mimosa is okay, wish it was also garnished nicely. Would like to come back for brunch to see how it is. The best part of the Cafe is the atmosphere and location to nice hikes.”

Fookie....What The Fudge?

Address: 155 Joiner Pkwy #800, Lincoln, CA 95648, USA

Restaurant

“I went to the chocolate festival in Oakdale ca today and there was a Fookie booth set up. I just lost my Mother and wanted to get fudge because that is one of the things my mother and I used to love getting together. They had lots of delicious looking fudge/ bar cookies and I had asked “do you have regular fudge?” I preceded to tell them that my mom just died and I wanted to get fudge because it reminds me of her. The man took a whole container of chocolate walnut fudge and put it in a bag and said “here it’s yours” he literally gave it to me for free. It’s very rare to find good people and it really made my day. It is delicious also!!! I’m loving it! I will definitely be back!”

Turkey Creek Golf Club

Address: 1525 CA-193, Lincoln, CA 95648, USA

Il Pizzaiolo | Wood-Fired Pizza

Address: 3640 Taylor Rd, Loomis, CA 95650, USA

Restaurant

“I'll say this the pizza was good not great but good. We got the Margherita 🍕 and the Salsiccia. The Margherita was missing the kick it was kinda lacking as you can see and the salsiccia was good. The crust was good as well. Kinda overpriced but it was a pleasant experience.”

Sun City Roseville Community Association

Address: 7050 Del Webb Blvd, Roseville, CA 95747, USA

Restaurant

“As DJ Rockalot I performed for a wedding at the Timber Creek Ballroom and even though this event kept changing, there was no private coordination and it scalled down in size, it didnt phase the staff whom performed flawlessly and the event was a sucess!”

PlumpJack Cafe and Bar

Address: 1920 Olympic Vly Rd, Olympic Valley, CA 96146, USA

Restaurant

“PlumpJack Cafe is one of the fancier restaurants in the Palisades Tahoe village. However, they are currently offering a very limited menu due to Covid 19 shortages and staffing issues. They features lovely mixed drinks along with a full wine selection. For the entree, they offer various meat dishes, which are decent, but nothing to write home about, and notably did not offer the dishes that my family had a craving for from a previous visit. It is noticeable that many restaurants in the village are understaffed, and this restaurant is no exception. Unfortunately, it seems like the choices and quality of dishes are also affected as a result.”

Jersey Mike's Subs

Address: 4201 Thrive Dr. STE 130, Roseville, CA 95678, USA

Meal takeaway Store Restaurant

“I ordered a Mike's famous Philly sandwich although the meat was amazing the bread was stale so it was a disappointment.”
