“Being Italian I rarely go out to eat Italian food unless I'm in Italy! I order eggplant everywhere I go because I love it. Lanzas served a very generous portion that was lightly fried then baked with a side of spaghetti. I also order meatballs everywhere I go and these were just like homemade with a huge scoop of sauce, enough to dip your bread into if you were still hungry. Amazing wine list, interesting calamari(it was flat like a pancake). Do not order the Prime Rib because they only have one pan??? Well we did anyway and it was cold. Owner was amazing, service was impeccable and I will definitely devour some more of their meatballs in the near future.”

“Such a delicious spot is Lake Tahoe! Great atmosphere, great service, and delicious food! A bit pricey but it’s expected! Very vegan/vegetarian friendly! I ordered the wet burrito, with veggies instead of meat and no cheese or sour cream. I also ordered salsa and chips as an appetizer! It was a super filling dinner and it’s beautiful since it’s outdoor seating area! We ended up going two nights in a row of our trip, will definitely back next time we’re in tahoe!”

“Decent mexican food (traditional baja style). We almost always get the Carnitas plate or chicken street tacos. The market inside is amazing, stocked with traditional mexican brands and a meat counter in the back. For the Taqueria, you order outside and the wait can be long so I suggest ordering ahead or on the app.”

“The best place in Kings Beach to get a decently priced Corona or other import for under $5. The shrimp tacos and tostada's are wonderful and reasonably priced. Probably the most affordable restaurant in Kings Beach. No indoor seating, however, they have a newly renovated outdoor patio experience. Directly across the street from Lake tahoe. Fast and efficient service. Very nice family run business. I highly recommend this restaurant for the person that is looking for great food at affordable prices next to Lake Tahoe! Cheers!👍”

“We went to Whitecaps based on a friend's recommendation. The place had a really nice outdoor sitting but the wait was longer so we sat in a booth by the window. The hostess was not courteous and did not greet us on arrival. However the experience changed when our server helped us with the food. Good pizza with incredible view. I would highly recommend going there. If you wish to enjoy sunset get there early and ask for outdoor seating.”
