“I've been going to this Motel off & on for the past couple of years! What I can appreciate is you are able to stay for 21 days with out checking out if rooms are available! Also there is security and no guests after ten pm. I have also tried a few items from the menu, I recommend the club cheese burger it's so yummy! I love the waffle combo, and the bloody Mary with pickled vodka is a delicious hang over cure! The front desk is great with honoring price matching, house keeping does a great job cleaning the rooms, though usually spread a little thin , they have aways accommodated my needs. The building is older & so I have seen some creepy crawlers from time to time. The location is close to downtown phx ! There are a few options aside from the restaurant to eat in the surrounding area, the staff has treated me well thus far. I would recommend this motel even if your not a trucker”

“Literal heaven on earth. Was met with free food that came in the form of critters on the floor (such as cockroaches) that I snacked on when I got hungry during my 2 week stay. My wife and I are delighted with our honeymoon reservations at sand man motel. The last time I have been this excited must’ve been when my parents told me we were going to Disney land when I was 5. The walls were elegantly decorated with unrecognizable substances that really put character into the experience. Highly recommended!”

“We spent one night at the Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Downtown recently. This was our second stay at this hotel in the last few years. The previous visit was very good with one exception -- the quality and service of the breakfast service. Well, I'll tell you now that has been corrected -- and corrected very well! Kudos to the management for offering what is now a very good and tasty breakfast service in the hotel. However, what about the rest of our stay? Ah, yes, just ideal. First, the location of the hotel in The Professional Building provides a natural setting of class, traditional architecture, and a posh environment. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed on the 12th floor. Great views, by the way. Besides breakfast, we visited the bar the evening prior for snacks and drinks. Great service and flavors all around. Overall, this is one of the best Hilton Garden Inn hotels I've had the pleasure to visit. We'll definitely return as it's well worth the visit - and to enjoy the great downtown Phoenix scene!”

“Stayed at many a hostel before, but this one will forever have a special place in my heart. It was very clean, complimentary breakfast was a nice plus, and everyone I met there was cool. One of the most enjoyable weeks of my life. Location is great too; so many things are within walking distance. Pretty sure I'll be back someday.”

“Clean and renovated looked like. For the cost it was great! DirecTv and nice TV room had fridge microwave and hardwood floors. The pool was quaint and cute, we didn't get in but there were ppl enjoying it. Was only there for a brief time so we didn't get breakfast, not sure if they had it. I mean I've been to big cities and gotten horrible rooms for this cost. Van Buren is a little dicey in some areas but it's close to downtown. If you're visiting Phoenix this is a nice spot to go to! Also staff was friendly. My guy locked the room key and his wallet inside and they made us another one without hassle. I've been to some hotels that will make you bring your ID back. So annoying. Had a great time and the beds were comfy.”

“Checked in for one night at first cuz everywhere else was booked. Wound up staying another two. The family that runs the motel was very kind, welcoming, & helpful. Room was clean, neat, everything worked. No bugs. No noise. Nothing sketchy. Not a fancy place but definitely comfortable, reliable, safe, friendly, & clean at a decent price. Enjoyed my stay!”
