“Better than most and probably one of the best Walmarts in the Saint Louis area. I had no problem parking in a lot that was free of litter. Most of the cart corrals were empty and a guy was working to clear them. Inside the store, brightly lit. I had no problem shopping in the lunch meats and sliced cheese, everything well stocked. Automotive had the windshield fluid I needed. Most of the front of the store has been converted to self-checkout but there was still a queue. Win some, lose some. I'd shop here again.”

“This is the best donut shop I’ve ever been to! They offer a large variety of donuts, muffins and kolaches. Our favorites were the shoe lace, raspberry donut holes and crane berry and orange muffins. The service was quick and friendly! They have plenty of tables to sit inside and also a cute donut bench and table for outdoor sitting as well. I think the decor inside the store can be updated to match the quality of the donuts that they sell! The price is veryyy reasonable! I am glade we found this place while visiting Hammond! We will definitely be back again!”

Dough is akin to a rich challah, spot-on slightly dense and chewy, slightly sweet + hint of yeast. Poppy seed are as good/better than you'll find in Czechia. Savory options are true to Texas. “Phenomenal donuts with just as good service. We came kind of late and the owner told us she had 11 donuts left, but she would happily make a fresh batch so we could order a dozen. Not only did she do that, but when I saw a flavor on the specials sign, which I had missed when I was ordering, and asked about it, she threw one in at no cost. These donuts were so good, I couldn't stop thinking about them (especially the raspberry mojito one). We came back again and the donuts and service were exceptional once more. I would 10/10 HIGHLY recommend a stop (or 2) here!”

“This was one of my wife’s favorite places when she lived in Omaha. We visited recently and had breakfast. The pastries looked amazing, and her Carmel roll was really good. She did mention that it used to have a lot more Carmel on it. She had the ham steak and poached eggs. I had the country fried steak. I loved that they had biscuits with it and gravy. There was a pretty decent crowd on a Saturday morning. We didn’t have to wait to be seated. We did not experience any of the negative things mentioned in other reviews about customer service.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Hopkins! Vickey was so pleasant and accommodating when I was arranging a dessert order for my one-yr old’s birthday. Our guests (ages 1 - 72) LOVED the cupcakes (vanilla, chocolate stuffed with ganache and carrot cake), cookies (triple chipper), and cinnamon rolls (the “minis” were huge!). Not only were they delicious but it’s so relieving to be able to provide desserts with CLEAN ingredients. I feel really lucky to have found a great organic bakery near by! I also snagged a pizza scone at pickup and it was amazing - loved the sun-dried tomato and pepperoni bits! Can’t wait to go back!”
